What annoys me is that we can a fraction away from signing Dybala only to fall short on a technicality however id wager we will never go near him again. In reality we should continue working on it, agree it sometime over the next few weeks etc and the deal can go through on 1st January.

Instead we will never re-appoach Juve again and instead be scrabbling around on deadline day "narrowly missing out" on someone else no doubt. Pisses me off really.

I gave the above post a disagree. I think we will try and get this one done in january, if its still there to be done! The guy is real class and I think that Poch and Levy may well try and get it over the line given the club, he and Juve want it to happen, if we are in the mix come Jan UCL and EPL, and he has not been sold, then why not?

Always happens..why do we always leave the most difficult transfers until the last day. It's as if there is a conspiracy to wind all the Spurs fans up. FML.

We've been dealing with it for three weeks apparently. Not like we just started...

Shit shucks. It was a humiliating ordeal to be put through and yanked back out of. He's right to be fuming.

Should try to get this wrapped up for January now.
I hope we continue to try to unravel the image rights issues straight away, so we can get something in place for January before Juve have a chance to sell him elsewhere this month. Probably gives us an extra couple of weeks. That's if we're still interested in doing a deal, which I sincerely hope we are.

Last time I remember any thing about image rights was carlos tevez? I remember that being a huge mess as well. Seems like a really bad thing to sell.

I’ve been driving for the last 5 hours. What was the actual situation with this one?

He was being bribed to leave by Juve and we were being paid to take him. Despite his numerous pleas to stay

Then, after he'd finally agreed to go and the transfer was all but done, Juve said nah you're not leaving come back.

I wouldn't wanna draw into any speculations, but it's just unreasonable to put blame on Levy on how this misses out. There are already alot of details involved in a transfer, further more with info we will never know, much less this that involved the annoying image rights.

I felt Levy and Co has done the best they could and I'm quite a believer that they did push this deal all the way to the end.

Dybala just liked Lo Celso goodbye message to Betis on insta. God this hurts. Those two linking up would have been perfect.:(

Shame we couldn't get this done, hopefully Levy will continue to negotiate to get him in the next window. He's definitely a player that's worth pursuing even though it's a complicated deal
