This reeks of United seeing us getting these agreements done, thinking to themselves, "hey, if those London fucks can agree with him, then so can we". Then jumping back in with a bigger bid to force Juve back to the table with them. This is typical United arrogance, they still think they're the schoolyard bullies and that they can push us out of a deal cos they're 'United' - fuck them!

Unless it come from our resident ITK's I'm not going to believe click-bait, I've always been pessimistic about the deal but at this stage of the window journos are phishing for clicks and retweets even harder than usual.

By ‘United jumping in’ he probably means that United have effectively stopped the transfer by deciding to sell Lukaku to Inter, rather than Juve. Can’t see Utd signing PD
And maybe the fact they are trying for Mandzukic, which could screw us over as well.

It's fair to say with GLC, Ndombele and Sessegnon, Poch will well and truly have been backed. Gutting if Dybala is off after being so close though.

To an extent - but if we are left without Eriksen or an unmotivated Eriksen with no new deal, I wouldn't say we have overly strengthened for this season.

GLC won't be an upgrade on CE this year and Sessegnon won't improve our first 11 - for all his faults Trippier is *currently* the better fullback. Ndombele strengthens us a weak area, obviously.

Just hoped, perhaps unfairly, for more progress this summer.
