In principle it ought not to be impossible to resolve the image rights issue.

Image rights are not recognised in the UK so Spurs could say to Star Image that they fully accept its ownership of Dybala’s image rights in countries where these are recognised but Star Image are not parties to Spurs’ contracts with Juve to transfer Dybala’s registration or with Dybala for his services.

Spurs could then use photos etc of Dybala to promote the club and club branded products as they are entitled to do under English law.

Star Image could try suing Spurs for using Dybala’s image but they would have next to no chance of success.

Seems reasonably straightforward, unless Juve have done something stupid that gives Star Image more leverage.

Press in Argentina & England almost unanimously reporting that personal terms were agreed yesterday, it's just the Italian media that seem to be persisting with the idea that we won't meet the wage demands.
