Soldado scored in his debut, Capoue looks like a world beater for Watford, too ... :banghead:
Got me thinking about Chiriches, and with nothing else to do on a wet south coast afternoon, I did a google news and with the help of google translate it seems he didn't do so well with Napoli losing 2-1.

He scored a screamer of a free kick in the Chinese league - so what? let's not get carried away here, the fact remains that players like him and the other flops were just not up to the demands of the PL except for potentially Capoue who it seems was not willing to adapt to the manager's methods.

No ones getting carried away...just a bit of dry humour and irony.

Good for Paulinho. However not too may players that we want to sell go on to great success

Good goal Paulinho; beat a good goalkeeper as well - was that blonde guy Joe Hart?

I don't buy this. We have a massively overinflated opinion of the premier league in England. The Chinese league is on the up. I reckon it would be great to play in that league. Did you see those fans?! They certainly liked wearing their club colours.

All that video showed me is that Chinese goalkeepers are about as agile as Subbuteo keepers. I agree with those saying our old Mag 7 aren't facing what Spurs players contend with.

Yes, they don't have to play in front of the arseholes who make up our home support.

Paulinho was not playing against a "Chinese Goalkeeper". The opponents are from Japan. This was the Asian Champions League, not all Orientals look alike, some even try to remind by dyeing their hair blond! ;)

They possibly had no choice.
