Paulinho (from what I have seen) facilitates a multitude of tactics/formations. He can play in a 4231 or a 433 or even in a cm2 of a 442. He is the archetypal modern cm, tenacious, dynamic, technically proficient box to boxer who gets himself into the box and on the end of things.

He's not really a long ball pinging, 30 yard screamer scoring Gerrard, he's far busier, tidier and dynamic and he's not really a Lampard either, he's more tenacious and dynamic than him but no where near as prolific around the box (few midfielders are).

This is going to sound like damning with faint praise, but it's actually meant as a compliment, but he's really more of an upgrade on Parker.

In fairness to the Dogon tribe they identified a white dwarf that they claimed an alien had visited them from, 50 years before it became observable from earth. It's actually there. Never thought I'd be using that bit of useless info in a Paulinho thread.

I'd have concurred happily having read much of 'The Sirius Mystery', Sirius B is there alright. However, the wiki page suggests that they may have been visited by astonomers in the late 1890s & absorbed some of their beliefs, later they were visited by others who thought these astronomical perceptions were unique & original; maybe they were, more likely they weren't. Which is sad.
