The Brazil international has fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane in recent months and has completed the 90 minutes just once in the Premier League in 2014-15

To be honest I just don't see things working for him at Spurs, so its a shame he didn't go, it may have funded the purchase of a player who fits into Poch's plans better.

I can imagine his wife being pregnant probably influenced his willingness to stay in London for the time-being.

Not quite given up on him just yet, but I'm on the brink.

It's hard when you see a player who we payed so much for and who earns so much every week not putting in 100 percent to sympathise so I wont, fuck off Paulinho and don't come back.

Paulinho is just taking a little longer to adapt, and his lack of game time isn't helping the cause... believe in the guy.... he'll deliver!

He's not a bad player but he certainly doesn't suit Pooch's way of playing. The big broom needs sweeping through our squad in the summer and he's one that needs to go. We've finally have a manager I have faith in and who wants to play the footy we all want to see. He needs to build a squad that can play his way. If we can do the right business I have a great feeling about next season.

When he came to spurs and wasnt playing well we put it down to "playing too much". And now he's not playing well because he's playing too little?

He'll never adapt to the PL because he hasn't got the pace, tackling or passing ability to do so. Plus he sticks out like a sore thumb as the player who lets our pressing system down, he just cant cope! Looks more suited to the pace of Serie A and Baldini needs to find him a club where we might get a decent chunk of our money back.....not easy in a skint league!

There's always the summer transfer window Pauli. Probably best to start making plans now though eh?

Please!

Fk he's having a laugh isn't he?
He played well and got stuck in for 15min.
Then reverted to type and strolled about.
I think his biggest prob is he's a lazy bastard.
He has skill no doubt but his work rate kn comparison to Bentaleb and Mason is woeful.

What did everyone expect when we signed this guy?

I thought we got exactly the player I saw at the Confederations Cup.

In saying that, his first season under AVB was nowhere near as bad as people make out - he got quite a few goals for us too.

Right, when he just got here, being the case! Stuffs not always black and white!
