10 pages of a nothing link from Ally?
People will clutch at any bit of hope because things are getting that desperate as the window ticks by, expect more of this leading up to deadline day.
10 pages of a nothing link from Ally?
Yes- now let’s discuss call-out chargesIs 4 hours the length of time at which you call a doctor? Asking for a friend...
Not sure if the model is possible/legal in England. Best we can do is build productive relationships with clubs. We’re on good terms with the likes of Yeovil, Orient, QPR etc, for that sort of thing. Salzburg have got it down to a fine art though. One of the best talent factories in Europe at the moment. That's what we need really - ENIC probably aren't interested in the multi-club ownership they had prior to buying us, but we could do with a link like that. A scottish team would be good if it were possible.
....also.I wouldn't say it was a nothing link, 'football.london understands' suggests it is info that Ally has sourced and is effectively a UK media exclusive. Its not like he's re-reporting Don Balon or 90min.com.
It also potentially links in to recent ITK.
Granted it only says interest at this point but as has been said in the past media can be a few days behind. (Although him playing and scoring 4 tonight suggests nothing is close).
For those of us who have missed out on the briefing/excitement:

AG has said multiple times he's not interested in being first with info, he wants to be correct, if he heard it from one person he contacts others to have it backed up.
Tbf Ally has been very selective when mentioning strikers. He only mentioned Watkins in reference to Sun bloke who said we were in for him, along with saying Wilson was merely an option while King was unlikely when everyone on here thought one of the two was guaranteed.10 pages of a nothing link from Ally?
How many people have actually seen him play a full 90 minutes?
Anyone?
Up until yesterday, I'd never even heard of him.How many people have actually seen him play a full 90 minutes?

Considering we haven’t bought him so never seen him play in the Premiership surely talk of him eventually replacing Kane is a bit premature"4-4-2 in big games with Daka and Kane up top. Kane dropping deep, Daka playing off the shoulder on the counter. Both 6ft + and can finish with both feet.
Would be class, and go some way to softening the blow if Kane did devastatingly decide to leave at any point.
I believe Ally was the first in the UK media to mention our interest in Doherty too wasn't he?
Just went back through the Doherty thread and Ally was the first UK media to report it. A full week after the Goat bleated!
Honestly think that Goat bleat is one of the best out of nowhere bits of ITK I can remember. Can’t remember anyone being so far ahead of the media and getting it right.
He is the type we need, can play as a striker or out wide. That would virtually guarantee enough first team action to tempt him into coming. If it's a player you really want you have to push the boat out. 30m + bonuses may do it.
Up until yesterday, I'd never even heard of him.
That’s my sense of humour, nice one.If he signed we would all need to rally behind him
One of the real positives of Daka is that I could really see him and Kane playing together up top. In a lot of the clips he's making runs from deeper positions and I suspect him and Kane could dovetail nicely, taking it in turns to play the 9 and 10 role in a 4-2-3-1 (Kane's practically a 9 and a 10 rolled into one so it shouldn't be too hard for him). Alli could also really use the competition in that position if Lo Celso is in CM.Would potentially be City level in terms of their Aguero/Jesus situation in that although obviously not as good he could actually mean we are still very competitive if Kane was injured. His pace also means a very good option off the bench. Really hope we get him in, his potential is huge.
