Free parking at Ikea
someone posted in another thread about this in chat that IKEA are looking at installing cameras
OK useful to know. In truth I find it a long way to walk so usually park in the hospital car park or on Pretoria Road. If you get there early enough there is some pay as you park space there at £10. Just along from the Irish Association where it costs £30
Did you manage to find this out?Think there will a few of us going to first match at new stadium on Sunday so this information is very useful. Does anyone know definitively if Ikea is an option on a Sunday? How early do you need to get to Hospital to park? Any other suggestions gratefully accepted.
No, didn't get an answer. I ended up parking on-street, just off A10 north of CPZ. It was an easy walk to groundDid you manage to find this out?

Sounds like you mean Brantwood road and the roads off.So i took the plunge on Sunday to park in Ikea, figuring as it was the Ladies match that Ikea would likely be less bothered. Turns out there was no problem and there were a few others with the same idea, so the walk to the stadium wasn't lonely. A few takeaways from me:
Make sure you check the closing time of Ikea, we forgot to and then realised at 5.05pm as we were leaving the stadium that the Ikea store closed at 5pm. Luckily when we arrived at 5.30pm people were still loading things into their cars from Ikea, but i reckon by 6pm it would have been closed up.
Use the open air car park rather than the one under the Ikea store (we used the under the store one which has less access to it than the open air one and makes the whole thing a bit more obvious).
On the way we walked through the trading estate area which is to the west/south-west of Ikea and north-east of the stadium (probably has an actual name). There were a number of places in there selling car parking spaces for either £10 or £15 for the match, with about a 10-15 min walk to the stadium. Worth a look in the future, especially if you arrive early.
