It’s going to be interesting to see who plays at the back.

I have a feeling the enforced changes are going to cost us here.

This is where our lack of CM/ WF depth bites us on the arse, and is the main reason I felt we’d under reached in the last transfer window. We’re only three games in and we’re missing four or five players, which immediately weakens us to a point that winning today seems unlikely.

Don’t get me wrong: I really think the players we bought are potentially very good signings. But there were also obvious gaps that should have been plugged and, while I’m happy to be proved wrong about this today, I think we’ll struggle against Palace

I wouldn't read much into it.
It's probably a pre made graphic, and they always ask about who you would pick like that.

So Winks vs N'dombele for the extra midfield spot (can't believe that is a sentence). Does Rodon slide into the back four to keep things stable or does Tanganga shift across and Emerson get his first start. Surely Gil must play today, excited for that.

Ndombele, Rodon and Davies haven't played much or any football.

So for me those 3 would be on the bench, and should probably start midweek.

I will be very surprised if Ndombele is anywhere near the bench, let alone the first eleven yet.

Just seen the team bus in Purley. Going the wrong way though so must be staying at a nicer hotel around here as there's no nice hotels in Palace lol

im local too. might go watch them get off the bus before heading to work

If Son, Bergwijn, Skipp, Lo Celso, Sanchez and Romero are all out, would you have some of the youngsters on the bench before him?

I’ll take a point now and hope all these players listed are ready for next weekend.

With Chelsea next week we need the 3 points really. You'd take 4 or 3 points from those 2 games but not 2 or 1 and let's face it Chelsea are a huge step up.

If Winks AND Davies play today (admittedly unlikely) expect a magical curtain to appear at the half way line, beyond which the ball shall not pass.

Davies has just played a couple of full games for Wales though so he's match fit - but I accept he has not been that involved for Spurs

To be fair losing four or five potential first team players would weaken any top side
