If Toby was on the pitch, Sess would be in all day. There is so much space, and he keeps wanting to make that run in behind, but no one has given him any service.

A tonne of space to exploit, we're just not doing it. Looks a little incohesive at the moment. Few players back from injury look in pre season mode. I guess it is still important minutes to get them go to speed though.

A bit sharper and we would be able to get Sess in all day. It looked promising at the start with the early chance Gil created.

I hoped for the best but this is very much the sort of game / performance i expected. It looks like the performance of a thrown together side of debutants, rusty fringe and first teamers and a bunch of reserves/kids.

take a draw and put them to the sword at home.

So far it has been another reminder about how poor some of our squad players are.

2 very poor players on the pitch tonight thus far if you factor in experience. Winks has just melted into mush post that ankle injury - almost worth releasing on a free at this stage. Doherty is also a championship player at best. On the plus, Bryan clearly has some talent, Scarlett is working hard and I like Gollini's energy. More to unfold tonight obviously.
