Think we have some funny young guys coming through. Just found Daniel Day, and in particular an exchange he had with Kudus Oyenuga regarding Jenkinson from Arsenal.

@Kudus_Oyenugato
@DeeDayOfficial brrruuuvv I wonder how certain people are aloud to play soccer.
@DeeDayOfficial to
@Kudus_Oyenuga LOL man shouldn't be allowed to participate in sport!!
There were a few more but that's all I can be bothered to copy and paste. Don't know what the point of this thread is, just thought I'd share what some of our prospects think of a young goon.

Bit of a stereotype, we don't all talk like that.

Its also not only black youths who speak with this type of street slang.

Its transcended an ethic group now and has become youth street slang, I often see white kids and asian kids speaking the very same way.

However, it does largely derive from Jamaican patois although it also is heavily influenced by American Hip Hop culture also.

I don't mind people using it in text from and for social networking, even amongst their friends, my problem with it is many kids now days seem to be unable to switch it off in appropriate situations.

Google chrome should have a translation page for UK street slang though, we could all get much more out of a thread like this if we could actually understand what the yute players dem are saying (innit blud)

People who refer to football as 'soccer' shouldn't be allowed to play it professionally. Apart from Americans, who perpetually get 'football' confused with their popular game 'handegg'.

find this a bit silly really. he's criticising a young player playing for the arsenal first team when he himself has done nothing in his career except fail in finland.

I personally think that's bang out of order. I'd also point out that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Jenkinson, like it or not, is playing in the premier league and getting first team experience, which is more than can be said for that lot.

He might be struggling, but a manager with an excellent record of bringing players through obviously sees something about him

Effectively saying that fans aren't allowed to criticise players either because they never got beyond Sunday League..

They're taking the piss/joking/having a laugh/ribbing/jesting. Wilshere's non-stop having sly digs at Spurs so fuck them. Jenkinson wouldn't be playing if Benny didn't break Sagna's leg, and I personally don't think he's ready (he's certainly not dench - whatever that is). Frimpong said we played football "like girls" but our young'uns can't mock one of their players? Not that what Frimpong says matters as it was a joke also.
