Things change (he had conflicting posts on Emre Can the other day for example). I think Giroud was suggested earlier in the window as being on the list. Romano and Di Marzio are no bullshitters either.

I'm sure we've spoken to him, and his agent probably massively fancies it, but their point about Chelsea being unlikely to sell to us is likely also spot on and a deal breaker.

Giroud is sorely underrated by a lot of people. Has a decent record coming off the bench and until Abraham came along I was shocked he wasn't used more as a starter. Reckon it's a play to speed up KP, however if it were to happen I wouldn't be annoyed by any means.

He’s the best of the strikers we’ve been linked too, but I can’t really I’m a fan of any ex-Woolwich players coming to the club. Never been enjoyable in the past.

Really can’t see this happening regardless. We have a worse boardroom relationship with Chelsea than any club.

I think the key here is that his agent is trying to Engineer a move ..... i feel its posturing / gamesmanship to get another club i.e Inter or whoever to get their fingers out, everyone in the whole world knows we need a striker .... i detest Giroud, however he potentially someone who could a decent half a season job for us, tbf incant see it happening or him wanting to come to us.
