Is it a rule that if you become an Ultra for one of these Italian clubs you have to also be an incel?

Proper odd, weird and sad behaviour as per usual from these so called fans.

Italy can moan about the premier league's spending power all it wants but when these melts have that much power is it any wonder their league isn't a corporate success?.

Danjuma was a panic buy. There was no plan involved with that one. If we planned it then he doesn't almost sign for Everton instead. We panicked because the deals we work on are always being negotiated and there's always risk it doesn't come off. We did it here with Zaniolo and with Porro too. It was an opportunity we jumped at and honestly were lucky to get done at all. If not we would be at risk of no incomings at all. It's another cheap deal that fell on our lap. We want Zaniolo on loan with only an option too. We're cheapskates.
I agree. Danjuma was not a planned signing, he might of been a profile signing. Ultimately I think this sort signings don't tend to pay off long term might do though in the immediate to short term....hopefully by then Gil will be ready.

I'm of the belief Danjuma is Gills replacement and not Zaniolo
I'd be a lot happier if we managed to sign Zaniolo and be wrong
I mean it wouldn't surprise me if that was Levy's thinking tbh. Certainly cheaper then buying a player Conte wants. But i think its a misguided choice if thats the case as we will be left with only Kulu and Lucas who are comfortable playing RW.

Well by all accounts we are going for Hincapie now so one would assume that Zaniolo is not coming here. I wonder what ends up happening to him.

I doubt very very much we will be bringing in more than 3 Danjuma, Porro, Hincapie if it all plays out. Any more than that and they'll be unable to play in CL and I don't see that being an option at all.

Yeah I don't see it ether unless we plan to leave Hincapie out of the CL squad which i can't see considering the price he will cost, even tho I don't think he's currently better then Davies or Lenglet. I just hope Kulu doesn't get injured, I would rather not have to be relying on Lucas after he hasn't played football for half a season. I know Danjuma and Richy can play there but neither are strong there.

Agree with this, but surely Zaniolo would be more than happy to nominate himself sitting out of the champions league squad in order to get out of Roma atm ?

Think it just keeps adding up that Zaniolo would be an opportunity we'd take if one of the other two don't end up working out as well as the financials. I could definitely see Hincapie being pushed to the Summer.

I still can't shake the feeling that this will be a deadline day signing for us, regardless of who else we sign.

I just can't see where else he goes from here. It's getting pretty rough for him in Italy and AC and Bournemouth both seemed to have moved on to different targets. Plus we have heard how much Conte wants him.

Still time for them though I guess. I'm probably just being too optimistic.

Id be very surprised if Roma don't come back to us, if they haven't already but I just don't see us going for it after getting Danjuma and our interest in Hincapie. I imagine, if we still want him, we will go back in summer but i think by that point he will go to Milan. I think if we were going to get him this was the window to do it.

Seems a bit of a strange thing to stop us bringing in a player since we could quite possibly get knocked out by Milan anyway.

Probably more to do with the player's side. He will want to be playing Champions League football so if we can't register him to play then it might put him off a bit?

I get that but you would hope it wouldn't be a deal braker. Maybe Im totally wrong though of course.

Just my opinion. You think we might bring in more than 3 knowing they can't play CL?

I suppose, although if the option is to come to Spurs and worst case is to not play in 2-4 CL games this year only or be stuck in exile in a hostile situation in Rome, I think the former looks a lot better than the latter.

From Spurs perspective, if we really think he’s someone that we want long term (or even the option to get long term), we shouldn’t let short term UCL registration be the deciding factor in the decision.

You’re probably right. I guess if it’s a loan with a option/obligation if we get champs league it could be smart business if it means we get him in now even if he can’t play champions league
