Mourinho about Zaniolo in interview after match

I want people who want to play in Roma and who are available. When you don't feel good in the family you have to leave and find a solution. The family is made up of people you want to be with".

May possibly depend on Moura leaving (although his contract ends in the summer,...believe we have an option for another year but can see us not triggering it so may just look to bring in a replacement now if the the opportunity turns up) it in the summer but this does feel like one we may go in for right at the end. Think it's interesting to see the profile of player we've been going for since Conte arrived. Likes of Bentancur, Deki, Richarlison, and Bissouma all have the ability to drive forward with the ball at feet. Udogie, Danjuma and Porro also look to have that same ability. Conte's mentioned having players in the team who can beat a man and open things up for the team in the past so suppose no surprise.

Can't say I've watched too much of Zaniolo, but from his clips, he looks like another who falls into that bracket although would be interesting to know if his game has been impacted at all by the 2 ACL injuries he had in the past.

I think Zaniolo has his heart set on us... and Roma is just trying to get as much money out of the deal as possible. plus i also understand, if its an obligation, then its easier to plan to find a replacement. but we are also trying to be smart and make it only an option.

hopefully, we can come to an agreement soon.

I think he would have come here but as soon as Milan came in he seemed to want them and I don't blame him. Hopefully we move on but I suspect we'll go with what we have now

hasn't Milan moved on as well? they are only offering 20M euros, way below what Roma wants.

maybe i have been reading with spurs glasses on, but it seems he wants to come to us, and its just us finding an agreement with Roma.

According to a number reports in Italy some Roma ultras turned up at his house last night, rang his doorbell and started shouting at him that it was his fault they lost to Napoli. He had to call the police apparently.

#Roma , shock near #Zaniolo 's house: chased and threatened, the Police arrive

I'm of the belief Danjuma is Gills replacement and not Zaniolo
I'd be a lot happier if we managed to sign Zaniolo and be wrong
Danjuma was a panic buy. There was no plan involved with that one. If we planned it then he doesn't almost sign for Everton instead. We panicked because the deals we work on are always being negotiated and there's always risk it doesn't come off. We did it here with Zaniolo and with Porro too. It was an opportunity we jumped at and honestly were lucky to get done at all. If not we would be at risk of no incomings at all. It's another cheap deal that fell on our lap. We want Zaniolo on loan with only an option too. We're cheapskates.

the trouble with Zaniolo is that he is a pain in the proverbial his short career is full of trouble it follows him everywhere always in the papers and that's before you mention his poor output
