Poch is 5th or 6th highest paid in the world, so thats not a problem. You're right about money for transfers.

But we’re in the new stadium now...charge highest prices in the world...wasn’t the whole point of the stadium in order to compete at the top?

What’s Allegri’s spending history like?

I think our scouting network needs to seriously up it’s fucking game.

I think a DOF is just as important, that structure served us well, err, better than not buying anyone, but I do think it’s important for us.

If Mourinho wasn’t happy despite spending fortunes at Utd what makes you think he’d want to come to Spurs?

I think it’s a bit delusional

Your mum has needed a good seeing to for years....let her be happy for once.

Edit: just to clarify this was your analogy... im sure your mum is a lovely woman.
That post was going so well until you edited it!

Why would Mourinho join us? We are not big enough for him to come in and win something with.

He wouldn’t want to come in, not win anything and leave in 18 months. We also wouldn't throw money at players the way he is used to.
To spite chelsea.

I think some of our senior players will want a statement manager

A five year project ain’t gonna cut it.

I think we have many many good players that need guiding.

Thanks for the edit. Just not sure I could handle my Mum shacking up with Mourinho.

This would be my list of possible replacements..
Marcelo Gallardo River Plate.. a winner, great to watch, up their with Guardiola & Klopp as one of best coaches in the world.. plus we get Sandra Rossi with him & if ever a squad needed her it's this one.. If our board had any brains they would make him their No.1 choice... Sadly I don't think they do

Luis Enrique available, I really enjoy watching his team's play

Rudi Garcia available, has done a decent job everywhere he's been, would know how to deal with board, could be a short term option to steady the ship

Gasperini Atlanta has done a great job & team is a joy to watch.. deserves a chance at a bigger club

Quique Seiten available we would at the least play the best football in Europe.. his team's are epitome of sexy football

Lucian Favre Dortmund good coach & think he would do a decent job

Laurent Blanc available I include him as a short term fix.. would be excellent with dealing with the board, plays decent football & has been in a position of walking into a dressing room in disarray with France & steadied things

Pablo Machin available, My wildcard pick, done a great job at Girona & was doing likewise at Seville, had them 2nd at Christmas until an injury crisis 8 games later he was sacked.. Seville made a big mistake doing that.. very good coach

Having said all that I expect Max Allegri to be No1 choice of board.. I have mixed feelings on that.. he never had to build anything & his football can be dour at times.. plus side he would bring much needed discipline & would want a technical director is needed imo

He didn’t get the players he wanted. If they’d bought Toby and sold Pogba like he asked they could have improved and saved money

8 league titles
2 Champions Leagues
2 Europa Leagues
4 FA Cups
4 League Cups

I'd be fine with it ending in disaster if he added some trophies to the collection. Pochettino's time is ending in disaster, and all we have to show for it is a few runners up medals.

Porto aside Can you tell me the budget he had to win those trophies?

“Stabilise”? Are you serious? I can’t think of a mor egomaniacal person.

Yes, serious. He's a prick and an ego maniac but we need someone to come in soon and stop the rot and get us playing something that gets results however cynically. 17 games lost in 2019 and we need to stop the haemorrhage.

Who else can you point to who can come in soon and stop the drop?

Mourinho always ALWAYS ends in tangible success as well.
No one wants to build him a statue mate.

Dont get me wrong if Mourinho came in and won the league then great. But he’s not going to win the league with Liverpool and city as they are so the best we can hope for is a domestic cup.

I’m not willing to put up with everything he brings for one FA cup. I want to enjoy watching football. And if poch isn’t up to it then another manager that plays attacking football that’s exciting to watch
