Its Duncan Castles, nothing to see......Yeah I don't think it's the club trying to trick anyone. It's just another one of the hundreds of articles linking us with managers.

The DOF role for us is very much up in the air atm.I honestly find it a really odd link. Arnesen as mentioned was the one in charge of transfer and played a big role in bringing Slot to the club. Over recent years Te Kloese seems to have been more a director/GM, more in the Munn role than the Paratici role. He was brought to Feyetnoord as CEO. Although he did start out his career in Mexico as chief scout in 2003 for Chivas he seemed to move quickly into more of a director role. On wiki it also says he was a scout at Ajax prior but I can’t find that mentioned anywhere else (but I only had a brief look)Essentially I’m not sure why we would look to him as our new DoF.
Also I don’t think we should necessarily be looking to replicate the Feyernood transfer strategy, I think the type of players they got worked in that league but I just don’t see it translating to the PL. At least not to the extreme degree they operate in. Really the BVB or Leipzig set up is what we should look to emulate. Krösche so far seems like the stand out candidate for us that we have so far been linked with. I honestly couldn’t tell you what sort of players te Kloese even likes.
Maybe he comes in and does take the Feyernoord system and upgrades it for a larger club and harder league. I’m sure Levy would love the idea of a team built on a tiny budget. But if he could actually do that I have zero clue because he has had no experience of doing it. It would be a big big gamble imo.
I also don’t think his appointment would tie to much to Slot, as in I think Slot would come regardless.
If you read the appointment notification by Feyernood bellow I think one would struggle to see why we would be even considering him.
Feyenoord appoints Te Kloese as CEO
Dennis te Kloese has been appointed as the new CEO of Feyenoord. Born in Bussum, The Netherlands, 47-year-old Te Kloese will be signing a contract with the Rotterdam based football club shortly and is set to assume his new role starting January 15, 2022. Yeah I saw that, I was going to mention it in the post above as it would make even less sense to appoint Te Kloese. The DOF role for us is very much up in the air atm.
Paul O Keefe and Twitter crowd have even been intimating that we might not even be going down the DOF route anymore and that we’re more so looking for a Head of Recruitment.
His reasoning being that they want to split up the DOF position in to more defined roles/jobs rather than having one person in control of everything.
He might just like his current job and project and not want to move. There is no way a Feyernord DOF rejected us.
Unless he has billionaire parents and does this for fun he isn't saying no to probably increasing his salary by four times.
I'm not saying we're a bigger club or trying to act entitled. But money talks and right now English clubs have it all.
Bigging himself up in all likelihood. The squad that delivered the title to Feyenoord was built by our old friend Frank Arnesen at any rate... Te Kloese had that fall in his lap.Quotes coming out of Holland that Feyenoord’s general manager te Kloese has said he turned down an offer to come here.

Bring back the “optimistic”/rainbow rating!Hope we have a thought behind who we go for, that we have a vision of what we want to be and select a DoF that can follow up and build according to it. Not just go for a status name - and find out he want defensive football and depend on agents to target and sign players.
Maybe but he could set up his kids and maybe his kids kids with a prem move which is why I find it so hard to believe. He might just like his current job and project and not want to move.
Maybe he actually enjoys the work he does there regardless of money? Maybe he and his family are happy and settled? It is possible to that money isn't everything to some people.Maybe but he could set up his kids and maybe his kids kids with a prem move which is why I find it so hard to believe.
Maybe but being I presume you know about as much about him as I do- nothing , well except he hasn't long been there long,I think I'm pretty safe to assume as a professional he would want to double his wage.Maybe he actually enjoys the work he does there regardless of money? If he’s reiterating that the name isn’t out there then that would also cross Krösche off the list. Very curious to know who it is.Nothing groundbreaking but Ally Gold in his latest video reaffirmed that he thinks the new DoF is the one whose name isn't out there yet.
No, the optics would be too bad given how poor Everton got under him, even if he was messed around. One name that hasn't been mentioned is Marcel Brands at PSV.
Dutchman who will know Slot well and worked with Steinsson at Everton.
He said he couldnt freely do his job at the club as him and owners clashed regularly over signings etc. (sound familiar?)
Mixed bag on signings but PSV well regarded for their recruitment.
Oh god it's me, isn't it? We're all fucked.Nothing groundbreaking but Ally Gold in his latest video reaffirmed that he thinks the new DoF is the one whose name isn't out there yet.
I'm the new Spurs Director of Football and so's my wife.Oh god it's me, isn't it? We're all fucked.
Not seen anyone post in here but yesterday afternoon Sport.De reported that Markus Krosche is set for Spurs?
