Couldn't make it to the game or watch on TV / stream yesterday. Followed the BBC website updates. Person covering the game kept on mentioning how fantastic the atmosphere was; how incredibly loud. After the third goal, he just wrote.........."The noise!"

Let's have more of that.

Saw a thread on twitter a few months ago that highlighted how images of the stadium were always used for any negative stories in the media (even when we’re not involved) and now it’s all I see when stories like this come out.

I read somewhere recently that Spurs make approx 6 Mill per game in concessions, not sure how accurate that is, but if it is then just for home PL games alone that's $114 million per season plus add decent domestic & European cup runs and all non football events such as NFL, concerts, Rugby etc then we are looking at over $200 million per year on concessions alone. We should start seeing the "Game Changer" Levy was talking about soon

A report a year or 2 ago said it was ~£1m on concessions per game, so 6 seems quite an increase.
And this is revenue, not profit.
What we need is more events - football ones ideally. The NFL needs to step up too.
A magnificent stadium like this should not be sitting in the sun, empty, 6 days a week.

It was in the Athletic article talking about potential takeover etc from Feb this year. This is the bit:

But the point of the stadium is not just to do with prestige, it also guarantees the first thing any potential investor would look for: annual revenue. Tottenham bring in roughly £6 million for every home game. They have made a big bet on persuading fans to spend more time at the ground, which is why not being able to fill the stadium from March 2020 to August 2021 was so damaging, costing them an estimated £200 million in lost earnings. But now Tottenham can fill the stadium again, the money is flowing in.

here is the article for anyone that has access, it's a very long piece so I won't paste it all.

Doesn’t actually say why Bristol ? I don’t know much about club rugby union but they appear to be a mid table team. Like I said I thought Harlequins was the glamour fixture like the NLD.
Quins play their :big game' at Twickenham, but it's not based on rivalry, just a point in the season, ie Quins is usually around Xmas, so they play whoever the fixture it is at the time. I should think the same goes for Saracens.

Darren does an amazing job. The fact you literally forget this a pitch in trays in 3 sections shows just how good.

I thought the whole idea of the artificial pitch was so that our grass pitch is never at risk from other events.

Not happy at all about this to be honest. Pitch will get butchered if it has rugby etc on it and we are entering the most crucial part of the season.
