I really don't see the issue with it especially if it's optional.Surely a step too far? Readily offering up finger prints was never in the programme

Out of interest club shops:
Arsenal 12k sq ft
Chelsea 12k
United 17 k
Liverpool 20k
Spurs 23k sq ft
And no we don’t get a trophy for that.

Bit misleading, 10k of liverpools space is taken up with security guards and metal detectors.
Nah I only use a wallet for cards, cash I keep in my pocketNo more so if you forget your wallet. I think you'd need a backup in accessory form like the contactless keyrings/wristbands etc. Or they set the phone to store a percentage of power aside to use for emergency calls and payments. I'm just the ideas man, I'll leave it to the nerds to make it happen.

I do get it though, you are in favour of cashless which is far enough, personally I like the option of cash as I think you lose track of the cost of things more easily with cashless, I'm not losing any sleep over it though as it's not something I can do anything about.
As I posted originally, I'm not complaining I'm just lamenting, my time is passing, even down the Spurs.
Totally agree. I actually rarely carry cash these days so the stadium being cashless doesn’t bother me, but the idea of only being able to pay by card on a night out on the piss sounds dangerous to my bank balance.
Whatever next, the south stand being draped in a burka. Cant stand all this IslamisationIn other news 1st bit of NW veil gone in. View attachment 41524
I'm surprised that the shop won't even have a single till for cash transactions. I never understand why shops have to price things as so many pounds and 99p. If they want to speed things up at the tills just round up the cost to the nearest pound. I know it's meant to be a psychological thing, but do people really still care about spending an extra few pence in a specialist shop these days?
Fucking cyber paranoia.
Isn't there a tin hat forum for that? Or is that too risky too?
It's not cyber paranoia at all. The reason cashless is so accepted is that for years companies (Amex/Visa/Mastercard) have been promoting it as something good. Nobdy is promoting cash which is in some ways safer and anonymous. People are just handing over there data for clubcard points and so they can be sold more shit.
Monzo for use at Spurs, cash for everyting that I can.
