How many of these grass light frames need to be built? Taking bloody ages.
Maybe from 1993 onwardsI think that happened the minute they started playing the semi's at Wembley
this is going to get very complicated if the stadium has got the licence then city game ok at NWHL, but group CL games will still be at Wembley if we drawn at home.. which would mean going back to Wembley for CL even though we can play in NWHLI think they've blocked us moving the match to Manchester as an away game or to another venue aside of Wembley or NWHL. The match can be rearranged to a different date subject to agreement from the clubs, sky and PL.
The Fighting Cock sat down THST yesterday and it's a really interesting listen:

Flav pushed home the point about how disappointing the lack of apology was in the first statement and all they did was bang on about the NFL, THST said they raised this with to the Club and they "thought" they'd apologised. Speaks volumes about how poor the Comms team is, they need to get someone in who proof reads our statements from a fans perspective before anything goes out.
In my opinion they need to get it right first time, not the second time when it comes across as a reaction to all the negativity. Time we started behaving like the big Club they'd have us believe we are.
I think the first statement was rushed out because of the story breaking over the internet, it was unfortunate that there was no sincere apology but the story was potentially ravelling out of control and they had to make a statement. The rumour is that they had plan to make a statement the following morning, but all the papers had got hold of Ashton's story. The second statement was more reflective of what we all expected.
I'm willing to give the club a bit of leeway because if those stories are true about the meeting earlier in the day, events happened pretty quickly and taken somewhat out of the clubs hands by the FA's leak.
But yeah the club can do better for sure.
No need for the hostility I wasn't having a dig at you as that was what was reported. I was merely just questioning it.well then lets end the discussion there then, as you know what happened. all I will say if it was picked up then I can most probably say for certain something would of come out in the press that week. not every single person in the stadium that day would of been Spurs supporters, there where still builders on site, and someone would of leaked it.
They have people who get paid fortunes to deal with and be reactive to these situations though mate. Holding off another hour and giving the statement more thought wouldn't have made any difference. Looking like a fox in the headlights doesn't reflect well, I'd go as far as saying the first statement was unprofessional and made the situation worse.
Levy has pushed for us to reach this new level, both in terms of how we perform on the pitch and our facilities off it but it's beginning to look more and more like he hasn't hired the people good enough to back this up. We're quick to brag about a world class stadium and how it's going to be one of the best in Europe and how the training ground is already the best so what comes out of our Club needs to reflect that, from top to bottom.
Exactly, but no difference to the last season at the old place really.this is going to get very complicated if the stadium has got the licence then city game ok at NWHL, but group CL games will still be at Wembley if we drawn at home.. which would mean going back to Wembley for CL even though we can play in NWHL

I don't know how these test events work but to my knowledge I doubt the attendees would have known.
This is true, I guess we'll never know.I also doubt even at a test event they would set the sprinklers off. that job was most probably finished long time ago, or totally finished recently and apparently when Mace tried them out they found a fault.
I too will support Spurs, good or bad. But it doesn't mean I can't question some of their actions. I agree there are more pressing things to worry about, but football does offer some escapism from those. All I know is I support Spurs through good or bad, I'm alive even though if I've a cats life I've most probably only 1 more chance lol, and just live each day as it's my last. there is so much going on in the world I just can't get angry that we failed to sign a player unless it's 1 that Poch wants and was available. yes I'm angry we didn't sign Grealish, but it's not the end of the world.
the match cant be rescheduled, it causes a headache to city fixtures congestion, sky etc , big prob, and NWHL would have to be ready 6 weeks before to stage this fixture on the 28thThe only realistic options now for city are stadium ready or Wembley postponement. A 3rd venue would definitely bring integrity of league into question as it would be a totally neutral venue. Anyone know 1st available Wembley date as November/December usually very congested. Hasn’t AJ got a fight as well which will screw the pitch.
