Or bringing them forward to July.I'm only joking although DL did specifically mention in his end of season message about having the test events in August and then changed it very shortly after to something more vague so he's definitely covering his back in case it's delayed.
very impressive
One of the guys said that the grass will go in last... Doesn't it need time to knit together?
It will be pre-grown, not seeded in situ. It should also be grown on a weave of artificial turfing material. And it will be high summer when conditions are good for rapid growth. I’m guessing from general horticultural experience, but I reckon it could form a suitable turf in a couple of weeks.Great video. One of the guys said that the grass will go in last... From cam 5 you could see something going on just under roof level in the east stand, some sort of platform as far as I can see but who knowsDarren Andercam is off injured again - seats going on? Something groovier? Can't see in to the bowl on any of the other cams anymore.
What - you an expert in this also? Clubs can lay whole new pitches in only a week - even Newport! I would suggest all the matting is being prepared now and will be rolled onto the trays very easily. In terms of knitting together, there won’t be any really as the trays will already be in 3 parts, and the system allows for these edges without concern. It will be pre-grown, not seeded in situ. Excellent Percy. I see that it’s the open day again in a weeks time or so.
Whilst you’re taking questions the lilac bush has just finished flowering. How brutal should I be with the trimming and when should I do it? I’ve just done the hedge and really cut it back but don’t want to damage the lilac for next year. ?
Capel Manor Bullsmore Lane?
Mate, as if. We're practically neighbors. Might give it a visit one of these days.RHS General Certificate in Horticulture (Distinction), Capel Manor, 1996.
