Yep, Pete Abbot is the stadium announcer.Thought it was Paul Coyte who did the HT stuff ?

Has there been any part of this build that's been BS so far?
Personally I don't buy all this stuff about a cheese room. Are the doors going to be made of cheddar and the walls lined with stilton? I don't think so!
On the tube after the game on Saturday the United fans were singing about empty seats at the Etihad and Manchester is theirs so it must be a regular thing I guess.Sorry not fully up on all the figures, but with 38k season tickets rumoured to be sold does this see us on track to be a sell-out each home game?
I was amazed how many empty seats there were at City on Sunday in what was effectively their title winning coronation - id hate the NWHL to be like that.
3 Acoustically, it’s been designed like a concert hall
“We worked with a company called Vanguardia, who bring in acousticians, guys who are sound engineers. Atmosphere is made up of a bunch of things – a bit of science and a bit of art. One of the really important things we spent a lot of time with them on, and part of the driver for the [17,00 single tier, the largest of its type in the UK] south stand was about creating more clean reverberation times so songs last longer. The studies we’ve done with them shows when you start breaking up acoustics everyone gets out of sync, singing 'C’mon you Spurs' or whatever the song is, and so they stop singing. So once they create acoustics where they don’t break down, the reverberation times are quicker, they last longer, they get louder, and the louder people get, the louder people around them get, and so the atmosphere and the noise builds.”
4 ... in everything from the roof to the seats
“It’s about the material the roof’s made of, the shape of the roof, where it inclines and where it doesn’t. We’re lining the underside of the roof with an aluminium soffit lining and it ends up working a bit like a concert hall, so we have sections where we’re adding more absorption where we need it so we have perforated bits with acoustic lining. I mean, it really has been considered much like a concert hall's acoustics would be considered, in order to get this incredible clarity of the acoustics within the seating bowl. The level it’s been taken to is unique. I don’t think we’ve ever done the amount of studies, the amount of work, the discussion of materials – where absorption is, where it isn’t – even how much padding do we have in the seats, where do we have that padding in the seats, which also deals with acoustics.”
If you love spurs I strongly advise you to avoid Harry Hotspur site as it is filled with bile hate and all of the worst kind of anti spurs drivel that can only be thought up by any of West Ham;gooners;or Chelsea supporters because no self respecting spurs fan would write the stuff that Harry Hotspur turns out and this man has the gall to call himself a spurs fan
From memory we worked with a U2 sound engineer too.
As I prev said on another thread..and was given some stick for it....I do not see City as a big club..they have a very rich country behind them. If you cannot fill your stadium when you have a team like that...you never will.Chelsea are no different but would prob fill 50k ground as they are in London with plenty of tourists.Sorry not fully up on all the figures, but with 38k season tickets rumoured to be sold does this see us on track to be a sell-out each home game?

He's the Spurs equivalent of a flat earther. He's probably still maintaining that the stadium is not actually being built, and it's just an ENIC conspiracy so Joe Lewis can have somewhere to store and swim with his cash, Scrooge McDuck-style.I didn't realise that SHH was the same Harry Hotspur. I've been around long enough to have at least heard about the crap he spouts and would go over to the dark side for love nor money. We are already on the best Spurs site, why leave it?
I used to go that blog exclusively to write on his little comments section (which he has cultivated into a forum of idiots) with a few home truths on some obviously BS posts. He has helped to maintain the current level impartiality and balanced nature of debate by blocking my IP. Charming really.I didn't realise that SHH was the same Harry Hotspur. Is he? Are you Harry Sir Harry'?I didn't realise that SHH was the same Harry Hotspur. I've been around long enough to have at least heard about the crap he spouts and would go over to the dark side for love nor money. We are already on the best Spurs site, why leave it?
What’s this got do with this thread? Or anything for that matter.
