The more I think about, it the more I believe we will be away for 2 years and that this will be out last year at the current stadium.

A poster on SSC has just said he went to the fans forum at Lillywhite House tonight and Levy stated that 'we only plan to be away for 1 season... at the moment'.

Additionally, when you look at the amount of work that will need to be done in 1 year, I just don't see how it can all get done. It is not simply a case of erecting the south stand. You have to knock down the old stadium, do all the foundations for the South AND the remaining portion of the east stand that can't be built until the stadium has been demolished (which is a sizeable chunk), build the east and south stands, built the space and mechanism for the retractable pitch, put the whole roof on (as it is a tensioned roof), fit out probably half of the stadium and get the landscaping ready. I am probably missing loads of things but I don't see how even the above can be done in 1 year.

Finally, the only scheduling of works that we have seen (detailed in the planning application) clearly plan for us to be out for 2 years, from the end of this season. Not to mention the unverified 'ITK' on SSC who has said there are whispers around the club of us moving out at the end of this season (the ITK did get some of the new design info correct).

I'm becoming more and more convinced that this will be our last season at our current stadium and we will have 2 years away, somewhere...

Careful on being upfront with that theory. The people on here toe the company line and are very sensitive about it.

FWIW, i completely agree with you. If you read the tea leaves that have been coming through various non-club statement sources over the last few months, it gets more clear with every snippet that this is, in fact, the final season in the lane.

If this to be our last season at WHL
I am concerned that the upheaval will throw us off course.
If a decision can be made I would stay at WHL
whilst we firmly etablish ourselves under Pochettino
for at leat another season
Very unfortunate timing and the football will take second place.

Just think that if it was to be the final season at the lane they'd have made a bigger who ha about it. Would have been able to make an extra few quid out of it and levy wouldn't miss an opportunity.

They are sending renewal information to boxholders at the moment, they state 2016/17 will be the last season at WHL.

Why would they be renewing for next season if they are moving us out? Especially when the corporates are most needed to be onside in the new stadium?

Right now, nobody, even DL will know for sure how long the build programme will be and whether we need to be out of WHL for one or two seasons.

Currently the club is saying one season....probably

Assuming the planning meeting is positive, the planners will sit round a table looking at what conditions have been attached to any planning consent (which could materially affect planning or build times) and revisit the various plans drawn up, and then they (and later we) will be in better position to finalise the plan going forward.

Until then its a battle between Doris and Enid as to how they are reading the tea leaves.

I'd say if it ever did transpire that we were away for two seasons rather than one then its most likely because of delays and we move in a season later.

There was a very clear sign that we're moving out at the end of the season.

Apparently Levy said we can't share the OS cos Brady doesn't let.
Well, west ham only have a veto for their first season. They've confirmed this publicly.
So if we were only moving out end of next season it wouldn't matter what west ham want.

Archway mark II ? Some rare & endangered bird species is discovered and a full study is commissioned ? I pray not. We've had enough delays & false starts to this. Let's just find a ridiculously wealthy naming rights sponsor & get this thing built !

They don't even have a veto for the first season. According to the details released all they can do is argue any use that may effect the playing surface. This will then be decided by an independant "expert" whether it will damage the pitch enough that it will effect playing on it.
Since plenty of teams share a stadium, it really shouldn't be an issue.

But if she repeats it enough times the media will report it as fact. That seems to be how it works nowadays!
