I don't see why we're assuming there'll be a statement next week in the first place.
The club on the 9th Jan said they'd be an update within 2-3 weeks. We're now approaching 4 weeks on Wednesday

Also, Arsenal at home is less than 4 weeks away and no confirmed venue. We'll need to confirm a venue and ticket sales

It's also reasonable to assume that many of those members you were competing with to get a ticket at the old ground will now be season ticket holders so even if turns out there are fewer tickets available to members there will likely be fewer members trying to buy them.

good point.

Plus after a full season at the new ground, attendances are likely to reduce, especially in the winter months and against the smaller teams. City and the goons regularly struggle to fill 50k + stadiums.
Attendance and tickets sold are vastly different things, though. What Spurs lack is a resale vehicle. That might very well help in attendance numbers when we get into the new place. It's ridiculous that the club doesn't have one. There will regularly be near sold out or sold out official attendances when the real # will only be between 45-55k.

City are a rich club. They are not a big club. Just haven’t got the support.

I’m desperate for them to lose. Don’t want the first game to be Brighton.

With the utmost of respect, why does it matter who we play first? If it's Brighton, it's a likely 3 points (no disrespect to Brighton) , and the place will be buzzing, regardless of opposition.

There's also something kind of nice about Chris Houghton being there, too.

It’s purely selfish on my part. Sat 6/4 is the only day of the whole season I can’t make it.

We had a very effective resale vehicle before. Then the Stubhub partnership ruined it. Hopefully we reinstate the in-house solution.

I'd expect us to be actually, really, sold out for at least the first 12 months after opening.

There will be a screening of NFL Superbowl at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (High Road, Tottenham) on Sunday 3 February between 9pm and 4am where taxis may be required. There may also be more demand at Tottenham Hale Station.

For the new stadium the plan was to have a system where we can easily pass tickets to family and friends and no doubt there will be a resale in general option as well for ticket holders as that would make sense

Hope we do. That'll probably the only way I'll ever get to go to a game there with the little amount of actual member tickets available.

The club are going to have two ways to sell tickets at the new stadium IIRC.

This has got to be a test event
It's not, it's just an event for select Premium/Executive members. There's been loads of them.

Why? If you buy a membership which doesn't cost much you'll instantly have as good a chance as any other member.

Anyone noticed on the east stand it looks like this week we've put another large screen up? Edwards new timelapse shows it about 1:20.
