Yeah, thew red logo comments always make me laugh. We cannot do anything about it.

In fact, I'm 40 this year, and we have probably had red logos for half of my Spurs supporting life.

The price of football podcast a few weeks ago talked about ‘template’ shirts, the clubs have the option to make a change here and there as part of the deal, but essentially the shirt manufacturers have to produce a huge batch of shirts with similar patterns for many different clubs.

..to change the standard Nike template for example, the CAD drawings and the machine output would be expensive, the settings and materials will need altering and this is time and money and possibly more labour intensive. The bigger the club, the more flexible the manufacturer based off expected shirt sales.

As far as the design on the ‘template’ shirt, I see no reason why that isn’t 100% up to the club. But the lead time on it means it’s larger done months before the end of the season. As the various website leaks prove.

I always presume that those moaning about there being red on the shirt have only been fans for a few years. Or at least don't really know the club's history. Wait until they discover that there were two red lions on the badge for decades! Or that those red lions represent the Hotspur part of the club's name.

Let alone that for 6 years of the club's early history we were known as the Tottenham Reds because we played in, well... red. People need to get over it. It really doesn't matter. It's a colour that's tied to our club's history anyway. Own it.

We've had more kits with the red logo than we had with a blue logo.
Also, the majority of those concept kits look crap. I will caveat my opinions with the fact that I always want the home shirt to be as plain as possible though. This last season's home kit was perfection to me.

I don't know I think it looks better than it did on those hangers. Not ideal, but could have been worse. As long as we win in it, we'll like it. Think back to that "seatbelt" kit.

I don't hate it. I just think the third colour is an odd choice with its placement.

Trust me guys, if what I've seen are the kits for next season, you won't be disappointed. I saw them a while back when I was under the impression they were this seasons and they're unbelievable. I'll be able to confirm early when leaks come out next season but I did share behind the scenes a while back.
