Training tops for them though right?

If so, pretty poor we get the template of their training template for our actual kit, like a few years back when the barca training top was literally our away/third kit.

They are yeah, and I know it made me think back to the Barca training one too, hated that kit also. It might be a template that is used throughout other kits though but I'm not sure I've seen so yet. Have seen it used on Liverpool's GK shirt. Actually its on Barcelona's home shirt too but is just hard to see because it's almost the same colour as the shoulders. At least we haven't been shafted with just a training shirt as part of the kit.

Amazing how so many amateurs can spend 10 mins on their macbook airs and come up with designs 1,000 times better than the professional designers employed by Nike

as somone who wanted to grab one just after christmas, can confirm it's been out of stock at pretty much all retailers not just the spurs shop, since then, impossible to find. Never seen anything like it with our kits, and half way through the season!
There are a few still up for grabs on eBay if that helps. Appear legit, new with tags etc

One of the Green champions league shirts from 2019 sold for £122 on EBay the other day, the right retro shirt can be profitable in the long run. That was a used shirt.

Other old Spurs shirts that tend to go for a lot of money - the Brown shirt, the half and half 125 year shirt, the Chris Armstrong era Purple striped shirt. The Pony Purple shirt, the Pony Blue and Cream shirt and any authentic away kit from the 80’s.

worth bearing in mind if you got any knocking about at home that you can’t squeeze into anymore

We haven't had a genuinely class home shirt since the Investec shirt that VDV and Bale rocked in the CL.
In your opinion that is. The best thing about the Investec shirt you refer to was that the sponsor was in navy blue.

I personally really liked both of these ones ... more is less for me. I also do not like collars on a shirt.

19/20 was our best year for Nike kits imo, that home is really clean and the away and 3rd (navy with purple bits, and light blue) were a good mix of modern style and traditional spurs colours. Obviously just a bit spoiled by Poch leaving and then the pandemic.

I've posted these in another thread before I think but for me it doesn't get much better than this. Home being white shirt and socks, away navy shirt and white/navy shorts. Both pretty clean. Plus even the purple third was really nice, we just didn't wear it much. Nike's first season's set of kits probably my favourite.

Why do we barely ever have Navy shirt with white shorts?

Yeah I'm not sure why, it's annoying as I really like that combination. It's the same with our yellow kits also, recent ones have all been yellow shirts, shorts and socks but I quite like it when we have white/navy shorts with the yellow shirt. Looking back at our kit history the last time was in the 04-05 season. The kits seem to very often be primarily the one colour over recent years but I do like contrasting shorts.

I’ve been very critical of the Nike kits but I’d actually purchase this if it was real

What- why?

Mate if you need to clean your toilet bowl or wipe your arse there are a lot cheaper ways to do it than by purchasing that 3rd kit!

Things get better as you get used to seeing them. We've had loads of kits that I've not initially liked, especially as I've got older but I can't recall one that hasn't grown on me throughout the season.
In fact, one of my least liked kits of the past few years was probably the greenish "Ajax" kit and look how that ended up - some great memories now associated with that shirt.

Dude I'll give you that you're right re: the "Ajax"-kit; yes, that grew on me.

But we could win the Champions league in the away kit and I will still maintain that that is one of the worst Spurs shirts I have ever seen. It's almost a joke- I mean as has been said 1,000X prior it looks like a fucking wetsuit. It is ugly beyond description.

The "Ajax"- even when I hated it (and again I am fully admitting that you are indeed correct and that it actually has grown on me) had "something" about it; like, it was a noble effort that failed but was still kind of cool. Next season's away shirt literally looks like something my 5-year-old daughter would make with colorforms. It's absolute dogshit.

Look- I hated the "space"-away kit of this year but even grumpy old me will admit that it was original and did (again) have "something" about it. Not for me, but I could see the appeal. The scuba suit kit is almost literally a joke. it's as if someone had 5 seconds to design an away kit and just pressed random buttons on a template program and that's what came out of it. No style, no panache, no originality, no nothing. In fact the only group that'll like it will be sharks, as the green collar will help guide them toward their prey as the unsuspecting Spurs surfer boy paddles out during a swell.
