Found this (somewhat randomly) and I appreciate, being in French (with dutch subs) that it's not a huge help for many, but my A-level French and Moroccan friend helped make this trailer interesting.

Vimeo Chadli Documentary

Basically about Nacer Chadli and his identity in choosing to play for Belgium being ethnically Moroccan. Really nice touching moments in the trailer showing him with his family and friends and fellow players talking about how having to choose between the two national teams was akin to choosing between two brothers - normally an honour but that the decision brought him some pain

I really like the look of him, he hasn't shown us his talent but I hope he can bring some of his Eredivise form to the Prem. He's big, strong and quick (not lightning Lennon / Townsend / Bale - but quick enough) to get down the flanks or cut in and play intelligent passes.

Also, his control is of balls to him is impressive.

It's a shame some fans are on his back, he'll only improve if given a chance (by both us and AVB)!

His defensive ability (also on set pieces) is vastly underrated by many on here. When he gave up his offensive duties to help Vertonghen with Valencia their threat down the right was nullified quite a bit. I'm pretty sure it's the reason AVB left him on and took Lennon off.

Valencia was ordinary and was made ordinary by their hard work as he's been playing himself into good form again.

He's had a disjointed start but for me, he looks the most composed/settled player out of our new attacking options (Eriksen, Soldado, Lamela).

He'll also benefit from getting Rose back into the team. They had some good moments before Chadli got his first injury.
I think Chadli will be a good player for us playing at the left side. He's able to drift inwards to let the fullback go on the outside, support the striker, challenge for crosses from the right, and also provide useful crosses with both feet. I think he has some good qualities in his locker, and he's higly regarded in Belgium.

The main question for all our wingers/attacking midfielders is if we can keep them all match fit and give them enough game time to allow the newcomers to settle in a new league and team.

I like him. I felt that the first game he played for us. Think some fans have been getting on his back a bit unreasonably. The big problem I see in him, ATM, is that he is taking far too may shots on and then shooting wildly, just like Townsend. Improve his final product, by making more assists, and by being more composed in shooting when that is the better bet and thereby adding goals, and I think we will have a pretty decent player - certainly well worthy of being in the squad - and it is a squad game now.

I'm not on his back but at the moment, I don't see what he is particularly good at? Anyone watched him much before?

I think @Snarfalicious is a good bet for that. He was very informative about this signing in the summer.

From what I've seen of his highlights in Holland, he looks like he has a good turn of pace, can cross well with either foot, and is capable of firing in some spectacular goals. I think he was pretty prolific last season too, but also very injury prone.
