My Interview by Spurs TV

Guys, just wanna share what happeened to me at the Lane yesterday.

I was at the match yesterday, coming all the way from Malaysia. The Malaysian official fanclub told the London office I was coming so they arranged an interview with me outside the stadium before kickoff. This was part of their efforts to further promote Spurs worldwide.

They asked me 4 questions:-
1. when i started my love affair with spurs
2. emotions when going to WHL
3. best spurs 5-a-side team
4. hopes for Spurs this season

Nice gesture from the club to do that for foreign fans like us.

And lucky for me, shortly after that, there happened to be a production crew who were making a film about the late John White. They needed some material for the film promo, which involved views from fans. When they heard I was from Malaysia, they interviewed me as well about Whitey. Hope it comes out in the promo vid!

And by the way, my 5-a-side team was Lloris, King, Gazza, Hoddle, Berbatov. They were surprised with my selection of Berba (and i knew they would be) but to me he remains one of our best ever strikers.

What a great day it turned out to be!! Isimply am in love with this club of ours. COYS!!

Thats a great team. I clarified to the interviewer before naming the team that with due respect to the legendary status of blanchflower, mackay and greaves, i would only pick players after 1981, as thats when i started supporting spurs

Sounds like you had a great time mate! I got a great reception as well a couple of years ago when I told them I come from Sweden. They gave me a really nice tour and I got to meet one of the coaches at the time as well, a great service for us fans.

I've never seen any of our legends actually play as I've only followed spurs since 2010 so my five a side would be Lloris, Toby, Modric, VdV and Bale

Your lineup is exactly mine except greaves over berbatov. i wouldve chosen greaves as well if i had not restricted the players to 1981 onwards
