It isn't true according to my mate who is a season ticket holder at Reading. He fully expects him to leave because their manager hasn't been starting Olise regularly. It seems they have something of a personality clash I believe.

Fee would be closer to 20m, so similar money to Eze.
Ah even more perfect for Jose then

With EFL clubs in financial trouble, surely most players are there for the taking?

Sign him up. Sign them all up! Mwahahaha!

First time I've heard of him or seen him play but this kid looks the real deal. If it's genuinely a case of £8m, sign him up. Maybe they would want Jack Clarke in return.

He's not quick is he. His touch reminds me of dembele. Funny how much of the vid is devoted to his tackling/turnaround play.

It’s almost like it’s been made in response to some criticism of his defensive workrate.
But he does look good on the ball, and has the ability to pick a pass.
Doesn’t sound like there’s any truth in the release clause sadly.

If I misunderstood, I apologize. Does downside mean something different in England? I'm in the states and downside is primarily used to describe a negative aspect, which is why I was confused when you wrote that about his HG status.

Ahhhhh, you probably meant the 1st one, I see now. All clear.

Little downside, so meaning very little negative aspects

I can't see us spending Eze money on him. I do hope your mate is wrong or at least working with outdated information and the release clause is real. We could do with a young, hungry, creative player to provide a spark in the attacking third and Olise ticks a lot of boxes for us.

I’ve seen a fair bit of this kid a as my wife is a Reading supporter and he looks very exciting, if we can get him that cheap than we absolutely should.

Any ideas on the reported cause of him not seeing eye to eye with the manager?

I do like a prospectus buy but I feel we need to focus on our immediate starting 11.

We also have Sessengon.

Two different types of players. Olise is a quick footed, technical attacking mid. Looking at the impact that Eze is having for Palace and considering we were frontrunners for Eze, I'd hate to see us lose out on another talented player. Buy and loan back or buy and keep, I wouldn't mind us revisiting our roots of signing talented players from the Championship.

This lad would be coming in the first team within a short time.

offers more than winks. He’s going to be a top player. Goals and assists and great dribbling and strength.

need to be wise with our money.
