No way! Say it ain't so...but he's ours, and he loves us and he gets us, and he's magic, and blah, blah etc.Yeah but he did speak to Utd, and was never offered the job.

Was this after we were the only team in PL history to not sign a player in the summer, and the team declined in basically exactly the manner he anticipated? No wonder he entertained the possibility. No way! Say it ain't so...but he's ours, and he loves us and he gets us, and he's magic, and blah, blah etc.

His team leaking spin stories I think.Disagree with this. Absolutely if he wants to go there and we haven't even contacted him then that's a fair enough decision. However at the same time if spurs fans call him out for it then he just has to take it on the chin. He knows it carries an element of controversy so just accept it. Can't have it both ways.
You're talking as if this is fact rather than opinion?Indeed. Seems his media allies - no doubt led by Ballague - are doing a better job spinning his lines than Levy is in countering them. It's not exactly new that the club's PR is an absolute shambles and maybe not leaking stuff some of the more juicy stuff from behind the scenes could be seen as classy but it does seem odd for there to have been no attempts to leak anything to explain not even contemplating him for the job now.
He thought he was a shoo-in for the United job in particular. Hence his reason for pretty much downing tools and the increasingly sulky press conferences over his last 18 months. He didn't go to United because they weren't as keen as he thought - they had concerns over his ability at the highest level - and never made an offer. It was not his choice.
Yes, this is fact. You're talking as if this is fact rather than opinion?
Do you have an insight into what happened from the Man Utd side?
Not at all, not when you put things in context at the time.No way! Say it ain't so...but he's ours, and he loves us and he gets us, and he's magic, and blah, blah etc.

Evidence?Yes, this is fact.
I don't think anyone is arguing that things didnt go sour and he was burned out. It was clear.I really think people need to go back and read some of the posts from Poch’s last year. His dinners with Fergie, his “I’m only the coach” press conferences, his stupid book, his inability to chance a game or make a decent sub, etc.
I loved the man but very much rose tinted glasses in here.

And it's not like he's pulled up trees since he left, either.I really think people need to go back and read some of the posts from Poch’s last year. His dinners with Fergie, his “I’m only the coach” press conferences, his stupid book, his inability to chance a game or make a decent sub, etc.
