For some reason, I've never heard of him.

I have scarred memories of signing Dohertys though. Does this one provide a completely useless option up front, too?

This. He’d be up there with Walker as best attacking RB in Prem after TAA. Best RB option we’ve been linked with yet.

Doherty would be such a brilliant signing even for his age. We'd still get a good 4 years out of him and he should be bang into his prime by now.

It all just depends on the price, which is why i doubt this will happen. Doherty is one of the best full backs in the league.

I’d definitely take him.

Top class right back, yes he’s getting on but we’re looking at trying to win things now to keep Kane.

At least two years out of him then look to replace.

Also wonder why Wolves would be willing to sell him and for how much?
If this lot are to be believed, it’ll be because he’s an over the hill winger who can’t defend, isn’t homegrown and isn’t tall enough. Also, Nuno Espírito Santo hates Scots.

Wolves have been linked with Max Aarons in recent weeks so they could be wanting to move Doherty on to bring Aarons in.

It is an interesting triangle of targets [and slightly concerning given the success of Wolves recruitment in recent seasons].
