Glad to hear the opinions on Doherty as it is hard to understand why he played where he played today. Definitely not good enough for where we want to be. He needs to move to a team where he gets more time and can get his confidence back.

With thats said, there was nothing wrong with his "challenge" on Forster as from what I can tell he jumped straight up and not into the keeper.

Conte set him up to fail today. He's nowhere competent enough to play as a LWB or LB. Really shocking decision when Davies could have been deployed as a LWB and been able to offer some attacking threat with crosses from that side.

He's not a great player but Conte is the one who decided to play him at LWB. Everyone knows that Doherty cannot play LWB or LB. So, Conte needs to field some of that blame for that decision.

Mate he's just as bad when playing down the right, let's be honest.

Thought he did okay today. Not on his favoured side, tried hard, never hid. Doesn't deserve pelters today. Certainly not more than Dier, who set West Ham up and was saved by Sanchez today when Broja left him for dead and could have had a late winner.
