Was happy to give this guy a few transfer windows before judging him but failing to see what he brings to the table. Pretty much every signing has been crap for one reason or another and the most successful is for a CB he had already dealt with at Juve. And laughably created a shit sale for Juve with the option for 14m so Atalanta could make a €30m profit

He’s seemingly failed with all these pre-contract agreements, chased Traore for 6-7 months and not sealed it and don’t seem to have any sort of strategy for this window. I’m sure we’ll be told to wait until after the deadline to judge but to be honest, I have 0 faith in him being able to close anything remotely decent

I also realised how fucked over Juve got with the Romero money.

The bloke is a disaster.

The warning signs were all there when we got him. Plenty of red flags if you did some digging.

He has no cohesive strategy and is clueless at squadbuilding.
Yep. He’s an absolute dud. I said this in summer. Dreadful mistake appointing him.

His first thing he wanted to do when he came in was get Gattuso as manager.....
He can't secure targets and also leaves holes in our squad I.e. no second striker.
But some people still believe Paratici will 'cook'.....what's he cooking, a ready meal lasagne from Lidl?

Funny how people are only realising now how useless this parasite is! Small amount of us being saying it from minute we appointed him that he was an awful appointment. All this shit in the summer of Ally gold taking pictures of him on his phone all the time and 10 deals going at one time just pure fantasy!

Anyone who did there research on him can see he was a complete failure at Juve in the 2/3 years he was director of football! He is the main reason they are in such a mess now! The club could barely hold the door open wide enough for him to leave in the summer.

Just look what the Juve fans think of him!

Yet another Levy fuck up of an appointment

what about Don Paratici, spinning plates and Fab is cooking though?

Waiting until Tuesday with my judgement, looks like this guy is nothing special at all though...
He’s not just nothing special, he’s a car crash. Has no grasp of profiles/how to build a squad properly. Add to that the fact he’s bed with the likes of Mendes and it’s clear why our managerial hunt and recruitment has been pathetic since he came in.

Why are we blaming Paratici ?
If you clearly look at the profile of players we are looking,

  1. Loans
  2. Loans with option or obligation
  3. Players on last year of contract
  4. Free transfers
  5. Managers who are free & no compensation required...
We cant have problem with his scouting as well - fact that some are annoyed we couldnt do Dias deal. If Liverpool is ok to spend the same money , then Paratici did identify the right individual
His deal making isnt in question - he did the complex Ronaldo deal

Problem is , & always been Levy. Dont bark at the wrong tree.
If Paratici isnt given the budget, he is going to look for cheap options. When he identifies big targets, Levy is getting involved in negotiations.

Its sad that we have one of the best managers & arguably one of the proven talent spotter & negotiator - still both are being made useless by that bald knut

You can’t blame this man at all he is working with limited resources compared to when he was at Juventus due to one man, he’s the root of the problem not Paratici.

His forte was supposed to be getting free agents across the line, so I’ll wait till the summer transfer period to make a call.

Hasn't been a promising 6 months though.

The annoying thing is is that conte said 3 times in 3 weeks against chelsea how far behind our squad is from the top teams.
We have been miles off ever since we decided not to sign any players when that was the time to push on.
I thought it would change under paratici but this is his second window where it just feels exactly the same as all these previous years.
So deflated.

Whats he supposed to do when there is no will to spend from Levy - he cant make signings from his personal account. He needs budget from Levy which is clearly not there, forcing us to look for cheap options

Pretty much everyone wanted Levy to get a DOF in and take a step back.

The only two flaws with that were:

(a) Levy picks the DOF
(b) How much of a step back is Levy actually taken. If he is still signing off on the major deals then he is still the key decision maker so nothing really changes anyway and Paratici is just a patsy.

By getting Ramsey from Arsenal on £400k a week?

From the outside looking in it looks like vlahovic, traore and Diaz all used us to get moves elsewhere. All 3 were top targets (itks have confirmed that vlahovic was Contes absolute no.1 request) and yet Paratici appears to have been led down the garden path by all 3. Should a lad who is meant to be as experienced and connected as him be duped like that?!

Il give him Conte as a major win, Romero is likely to be a win if he is ever consistently fit but after that he has Nuno & gollini which are failures. Royal who will at best be a par signing and Gil who is too young to judge but start hasn't been great.

We are 4 days away from the end of his 2nd window and we are still without a striker and have still not got players in the 3 positions that both ITK and journos were telling us were priorities.

It's not looking great so far is it

This is not Juventus he cannot use the same strategies he did there.. we do not have their pull for players... He has been underwhelming so far it has to be said..

I cant believe some of you falling into Levy' trap and starting to blame FP

Even Luis Campos will be a failure at Tottenham - when there is no will or support from the owner what can Paratici do. If our club line is , we sell and only then we buy - how do you build the squad.

Or we loan or free transfer, how can any DoF do it on a regular basis. Deals like Romero doesnt happen frequently.

If this is the way, Levy will continue to hold Tottenham, both Conte & Paratici will resign and they will get a better club regardless.

I think what's being lost in amongst all the anger about losing Diaz is why we were ever in for him to begin with; I have more concerns there than I do about losing him. We wanted to spend most of our budget on an inside forward who cuts in from the left when our manager plays two formations neither of which accommodate that position? I'm not sure how true the stuff about Adama not wanting to play wing-back is, but I have to wonder if we're going after the right players or signing someone for the hell of it.
