With the injuries we've got - if we'd sat back and played 10 men behind the ball, do you think we'd get any points and score 3? I know Conte did it but only with one of the best forwards in Premier League history having arguably the best game of his career so I think it's unlikely.

High risk high reward football. Audere est Facere and I'm all for it. Yes you get games like Chelsea where it all goes tits up but this is the mindset I've wanted to see from Tottenham my whole life - and I think on balance we're where we're supposed to be. Maybe we got a bit lucky today and against Liverpool, but we should have taken more against Villa and Chelsea.

The big thing for me under Ange is I feel like there's always a chance we can get something from games which was absolutely not the case under previous managers. Even when we've conceded late or have players sent off we keep pushing for another goal and never give up which is so refreshing. And for all the talk about him being "naive" for big games - only one team in the top nine has beaten us so far this season, compared to last year where everyone in the top nine except Brighton beat us at least once and four teams did the double over us.

We moved to 2 DMs in front of our defence in the second half and it really helped build up having the extra man there, even if neither PEH or Bissouma actually passed that well. Shows what impact a small positional switch can have, good decision from Ange

mate! But not only his play style but his positive mentality and he’s a true gent.

In his post-match interview, he said games like these give us belief in the kind of football we play, which is why he wont play another way even without the players who thrive under it. Sticking to your guns during tough times gives you more self belief if you survive; and he made a point that the responsibility of a loss is his.

I think he knows how to help young/mediocre players build confidence. I don't think 'Plan A only' will work at the highest level, but Im happy with this ride. He is positive and gives the players freedom to enjoy their game. I think after we see a little bit of success, he will have a diff problem to the current once (motivational instead of confidence) but we will cross that bridge when it comes.

Being down to our bare bones right now and still sticking to the system and continuing to play well in it will accelerate Ange’s mission to ingrain this identity/philosophy into all the players at the club.

One of those ‘shit short term, but could do us wonders long term’ situations.

Think of the options with a fully fit and flying, Gio, Madison, Bentancur, Bissouma, Son, Kulu, Johnson, Gil, Richy, not to mention VDV and Romero.

So many options would love to see what Bentancur, Gio and Maddison could do together in midfield, could be some real Haarlem globetrotter stuff.

Forgot about Sarr too!

Ange's hand has been forced in giving players not involved game time but it could lead to loads of viable options to change games.

It's only the centre back issues that are really holding us back. Although a Son injury would really hurt us imo. The other positions you'd say are upgradeable but shouldn't throw us off our stride too much if we encounter injuries.

The best years of Jol, Redknapp and Poch were around a decade combined.
