I couldn't give a toss how we ended up with him, I was up for the idea of him back in March and whatever the reasons or "luck", we've finally got ourselves a proper Spurs manager.

Let's not argue about Levy, luck, or whatever, let's enjoy where we're going with this man in charge. 😊

I think the lesson Levy needs to learn and has been proven by Ange (thus far) and Poch is to appoint those who want to come rather than accommodate those who don’t. Goes for players and managers. Once Spurs was mentioned in top four contention year after year, Levy saw us as becoming part of the status quo hence jumping on the Super League and appointing managers for £15 million a year. We aren’t that kind of club. We want to be radical, progressive and exciting and I’m so glad that we eventually arrived at Ange as he seems to embody what all of us want from our club.

as a body language expert he is very kinesthetic. down and to the left and down and to the right although some NLP practitioners will say that is internal kinesthetic and internal verbal........

whatever it is, he creates belief and that is what this bunch needs
No idea what this means but I like it

A breath of fresh air ( although I’m still pissed off about the Fulham game midweek).

Is that not just his job? You don't thank the checkout person at Tesco and think wow credit to him or her!
So when he picked Nuno it was on him, when he picked Conte it was on him, but when he picks Ange he’s just doing his job?

Picking the manager is a bit more than pushing stuff through the checkout at Tesco.

Weirdly it's a bit of a bigger decision than that, directly involving tens of millions and millions of pounds worth of expenditure and affecting the value and trajectory of an entity worth billions.

He has made more than his share of fuckups, of which nobody can deny, and nobody will ever like a lot of the things about the way that we're run in the transfer market, but you have to give some credit where due to be an honest broker about it all and dish out the scorn. He's tried to be progressive for years, going down the DoF route before really anyone else did, going for Redknapp, giving it to Jol, Poch, and now Ange. It hasn't always worked, but the ethos has been there. If anything, his shittest appointments have been through trying too hard to give everyone what they think they want and get something over the line by hook or crook.

Credit where it's due. We fucked off Ten Hag and De Zerbi over the past couple of years to make this appointment, and it looks a good one so far.

Next time we should self scan and just the manager hire himself.

At the end of the game, I love the way he just walks up, watches the crowd.

He looks like a man who savours the moment. Living in it.

I did not single out one manager over another so that is down to your interpretation.
He is doing his job when he appoints all the managers surely?
Anyhow as been said by some one else let's enjoy the win!

Think you missed the point matey!

However do agree this looks a good fit, and finally enjoying watching us play after so many years.

I cannot believe how quickly he implemented his style of play. Especially when you consider with all new coaches.

It is really impressive.

Yes 'lucky', he wasn't first choice so we may have had someone else in charge right now. He was on the list from the beginning but he was not top choice. Same as he got 'lucky' with Poch when LVG was top choice.
Well he was always in the top 2, and no one really knows who was first choice. It’s quite possible slots agent just did a really good job of making it seem like it was his decision to pull out (via network of agents snd journos) when they got told he wasn’t getting it.

Ange clearly didn’t want anything out in public until his season had finished so we don’t really know then the decision was finalised as spurs were being tight lipped.

either way it was still a brave appointment regardless of whether first choice or not do credit when it’s due,

not sure it makes up for the obvious disaster of mourinho but we will see.

Very Random but I haven’t seen the Brad Friedel look a like on the sidelines the last
Few games? Is he still part of the staff?
