I just love the way he leads by example. He wants the players to be brave on the pitch, so he makes brave selection decisions. Playing one of our top rivals for CL places, he swaps out the more defensive Emerson and Skipp for Porro and Sarr. That takes some guts, but Porro hits the bar and Sarr scores a goal. That has to rub off on the players. It's the polar opposite to the management style of the last 2 arseholes who showed zero bravery and had us playing under constant defensive pressure.

“I want to explore the squad and individuals within it,” Postecoglou explained. “It would be silly to stick with some sort of formula because unless I expose some of these guys to this level I’m never going to learn about these guys.

Get rid of the deadwood and back this man with whatever he needs. A striker and winger are absolute musts with another CB a bonus. If we can get 3 more in (extremely difficult due to numbers), this could be a very positive season. Let's start getting some players out ASAP!
A CB is still a must , we’re an injury/ suspension away from Sanchez being a starter again, although there seems to be an improvement we still need a better option.

Biggest Conte's achievement here may as well be how he managed to gaslight big part of the fandom into believing that our players can't pass and don't understand tactics. Very exciting to see Ange showing how wrong that was.

I think he’ll be fine now he has a manager that’s telling him he can be a good defender, rather than someone telling hi, he’s shit every week. He’s a confidence player. And as a back up I think he’s fine. We are light after him though as I don’t see Dier or Tanganga as good fits for this system.

Skipp has to be under consideration. Quiet last week, but HG which is rare at the moment.
One option would be to upgrade Skipp with Gallagher, who in my opinion fits into Ange's style of play more and would solve the HG issue. A midfield option of Bissouma, Sarr, Bentancur, Gallagher, and Alfie is the 5th choice.

Front 3 did ok. I think he's largely been proved right on hojbjerg though. We did score 70 goals last year, we were just shocking in defence. No surprise its hojbjerg moving out and the others staying.

Yes. With who he wants. Not signings for signings sake.
It's early days but anybody who knows me on here knows I don't do kneejerk posts and I honestly think from an owner's POV you try your best to build your club around this guy, same as Poch when he came in. He can be our Pep, our Klopp.

Every time we lose our "star" or figurehead, another joins or rises to the occasion. Usually it's a player, whether that's Berbatov or Carrick or Modric or Bale or Kane, but this time I think it's Ange and I'm hoping the end result is a more fluid, dynamic team without a "star" who wins all the individual awards but full of very good players who play his way and win as team.

Get rid of the players he doesn't want, bring in a couple of players that he does want and let him do his job. Just back the man.

I'd modify that that. Yes, Conte doesn't look at all but it is more of a case that Conte's appointment and subsequent support looks worse and worse by the week. (plus his personal issues can't be dismissed.). At the right club with the right players, he'd probably do well but his inflexibility and tactics were ill suited to Spurs and a team that is tight with a penny. This isn't bashing DL's efforts so much as he was throwing everything and anything at the problem. It is a criticism of his strategy as the team wasn't built for a coach like Conte.
