I am fully brought in

There is going to be bumps in the road. With the football were going to try and implement it will be rocky for sure but I'm prepared to back him to the hilt.

He has such an amazing personality. Charming, charismatic and want whilst being stern, authoritative and oozing leadership.

But the lack of experience at this level you say. Well football is football and even if he did lack tactical nouse in his backroom team he has loads and loads of it. Mason and wells have shown they're great tactically and Davies has a great CV. Plus in Jedinek they have a guy who if players aren't taking things seriously he can soon make sure they do

Were going to be ok mate.

Having quite a few contacts in Australia the only blot on his copy book there seems to be resigning just after they qualified for the 2018 WC but apart from that he is well liked and respected.
I wasn’t sold at first, but given what’s happened over the past couple of years I think he’s exactly what we need. There is surely going to be a few bumps in the road at first so I just hope we stick with it.

🤣

This weekend will bring Postecoglou's Premier League debut in the dugout and the only downside to his new job is that he has to give up one annual tradition with his long-time friends.

"I've got a few friends coming to the match. It's fair to say I've been inundated for tickets but it's great because they've been along for the journey. We all had those dreams and we're all living it together because for me they're just part of it as well because I wouldn't be sitting here today without them," he said.

"They're all going to be here and for the first time in I reckon 20 years I've had to pull out of our fantasy Premier League group as well which I'm gutted about and if they try to grill me for information they're getting nothing out of me.
Bloody tourists taking all the tickets ruining the atmosphere lol

The embargoed section is yet another blinding set of quotes from him. His wife has probably given him a bollocking though! 😂

Interesting stat I saw about Ange’s slow starts. At Celtic he lost 3 of his first 6 league games as coach (all away). After that, Celtic lost 1 in their next 66 league games.

Even with caveats about Celtic’s strength in a weaker league, that’s a pretty incredible stat.

High risk football definitely isn't for the feint hearted. Need Poros pace and Emerson's composure. He's getting hit hard over the top.

Good start, most important not to lose. Keeper is a worry and front 3 not good enough today. Other than that pretty happy with the way we dominated, vdv looked good. Expected more subs towards the end from Ange but guess he didn't want to upset the balance too much.

Seems like the challenge is going to be getting the full back and wide forward balance right. Kulu and Son couldn't get in the game and the system seems to look more primed for traditional wingers. Prime example of problems with the inverted fullbacks was in the last minute there when we had to go all the way back to the keeper because of having no one moving out wide to create an easy option.

Overall very positive though.

I'm not convinced by the inverted full backs. Currently they're the ones that are getting the ball in a position to create, while the creative players are standing out wide doing just that, keeping the field wide.
Their talents seem a bit wasted out there.

It's probably the safer way to play with a high line, as your full backs are better positioned to defend in case possession is lost.

I guess we'll see how it plays out once the players get used to it more. But definitely have my doubts.
