I hope to hell I'm proven wrong and I'll gladly eat my words if so, but I have a terrible feeling about this. I never trust big talkers, especially when they're Greek. There's nothing in Ange's managerial résumé that makes me believe he is within his depth. I for one don't care one bit about sexy football; just winning.
Having said that, I look forward to next season, I hate the off-season, and I'm 100% behind the new manager and all the players. And this is my last doom and gloom post. COYS.

Thing is he's not really a big talker at all. He's actually a pretty softly spoken, modest guy who is just very, very passionate about football and playing his way.
He'll get loud and angry if the players don't do what he's asking, and he'll get passionate when he's explaining his style of play and trying to get them on board, but beyond that he's a low-key character and the opposite of what you're implying.
Nice negative post with racist undertones - obviously got jilted by a Greek lover!
BTW I know poster potentially has Greek origins!

You may well be right. But then in life and sport generally there are lot of people that are employed or promoted that are out of their comfort zone and "depth" because the feeling is that their potential means they can elevate themselves and their performance to do the job well. That is very much the case with this appointment. The point is, in my view, that he has taken on his biggest job yet and that includes being the manager of an absolute monster of a club in Celtic and having managed internationally so the hope is that we have employed Ange the manager because we think he can elevate himself and ourselves whilst doing the job here. The key to being satisfied that he can manage to do that is only in meeting or talking to the man and getting an idea of his vision I suppose.

Would be nice to get some clarification from the club on what has happened with the staff in and around our recruitment team since Paratici left.

Well, if he met them Friday they must all still be there. Until we hear otherwise from the club I suggest that nothing has changed. What happens when a new DoF comes in though is anyone’s guess.
