I had the same reaction. Understandable, really. There's a whole load of memories tied up with WHL. Family, friends, growing up, great players, cult heroes, hope, disappointment, dreams, a lot of frustration and even more pleasure. As the great Bruce Springsteen put it - "Everything dies, baby, that's a fact. But maybe everything that dies someday comes back".There was a lovely piece on Football Focus with the music that is all about glory, The Ecstacy of Gold by Morricone. My daughter asked me whether WHL was about to be torn down, and I had suddenly had to catch myself, because I almost started crying. I never expected that; it came from nowhere.
