It sounded like Eriksen wasn't so keen on coming back and Conte wasn't that fussed either. I really don't think he's looking for a central attacking midfielder. Even if they're versatile I think he wants a more functional box to box type who can play the inside forward role. I don't think Eriksen is at all perfect unless we switch to 3 in midfield which won't happen often. I would even suggest Paqueta looks best suited to a 3 in midfield.

Romero is quite funky and beautiful to watch. Then you have Kane and some of his pinged balls are amazing to watch too.

Bentancur has some nice flair as well. I cannot wait to see Bissouma play as well.

Gil potentially is a great little player, just need to develop his game. So hopefully we can get another player in the Kulu mode to replace Gil if he goes away on loan to further develop his football education.

Not gonna lie flair is great but I’d rather see us have more than 3 players in the squad who I’d expect to have a great first touch in any situation in Kane, Kulu and Bentancur. We don’t lack flair, we lack technical ability. Its why we move the ball so slowly sometimes and that’s pretty much the be all and end all when it comes to attacking football, the quicker you move the ball the better you will be as an attacking force
