I'm amazed at how dramatically they've improved in a short space of time. They actually look threatening. Eek

Yes it has improved but shouldn't we allow Hudds to take the corners instead? Since he is our best kicker of the ball..

It's a shame Bale isn't fit though as his corners are the business!

Lennon's aern't too bad and he does seem to be able to actually cross in open play now which is good, but I wonder if maybe Gilberto will take the corners once in the team?

Surely all Brazilians are quality at set-pieces no?

I've never been impressed with Hudd's corners, Bale is the best, but Lennon is doing pretty well. He's improving all round. Phenomenal workrate, and really beginning to excite people again. Not to mention his improved delivery as well.

Crossing better but when he's taking on the full-back he doesn't seem as ruthless as he used to..

Lennons set pieces have defo stepped up a notch recently which is great because we have good aerial ability in the side now. I've noticed JJ's free kicks have also improved a lot. Notably against Wet Spam and Woolwich his delivery for the goals were superb.

Lenny's corners and all round delivery seem to have improved a good deal recently, it was needed to ensure he makes the step from exciting prospect to top class player.

Looking forward to seeing him at St Mary's for the U21's on Tuesday

I dont think it is just his corners that he would be in the side for!!

Thats because he always wants to go on the outside and defenders are wise to it now. I wish he would cut in more as he seems to be limiting his game.

Yer he's generall all-round play is better aswell as he's delivery. He tracks back allot to doubling up with the defender....looks sharp again

Hmm....we must have been watching different games as I saw two threatening moments from separate corners; one with dawson almost scoring but brown did a last ditch defensive header that dropped past the post and the other for Berbs. In fact, none of Man U's corners were threatening till the last one at the end. We cleared well for every single one before that.

Juande and gus must have been working hard on him. Whereas before, he would put his head down and run full speed to the byeline before any of his teammate could get into the box, and hence he had no one to pass or cross to; he now bides his time when required and works in much better cohesion with his teammates.

he dropped a perfect cross right onto Berba's right foot, which promptly went 8 feet over the bar.

Hudd is the best striker of the ball, but seeing as Lennon is hardly going to be a threat in the box for a corner we may as well get him to take better corners than he used to. And it might well help his crossing in open play too.

Arn't Brazilians quality at everything? Ive seen him whip a few crosses in but never seen him take a corner. Has good technique though the times i've seen him play for Brazil so maybe
