This is ridiculous conspiracy theory. I can’t believe how far people can go in despair.

Not really a conspiracy theory, just my interpretation of the players performance, results and events within the club. It's not exactly flat earth theory to think some of those players are hiding and using injuries as an excuse. They don't care if we don't get CL because they can easily move to a club that will have it.

Time will tell and I hope I'm wrong but I can see at least 3 of our biggest players moving on this summer.

Really? This is the same squad of players (plus a couple of extra January purchases) that he claimed was the 3rd best squad in the premier league and good enough to challenge for the premier league next season.

A worse squad than this got us to the Champions league final last season.
debatable tho I appreciate the positivity. We had Sonny, Trippier, Sissoko, Eriksen and Rose this time last season.

I think that insurers dictate whether the modern footballer plays or not, I think they write strict medical clauses into their policies because of the high value given to players which would lead to such exorbitant payouts if players were permanently damaged by playing through the smallest injury and making it worse

A step in the right direction from Mourinho but I don't see this getting any better yet.

Something has happened in that dressing room. If it wasn't somebody else shagging Eriksen's wife, it was something else like that. A lot of this squad were involved in our best years for a long time but now there's just no fight in them and they're not playing for each other at all. No amount of smiley social media crap from the club is going to improve that.

Yeah, some of the players are saying the right things to the camera, like Ali last night, but actions speak louder than words and the fact is the players just aren't playing to their potential. I don't believe all of these injuries are legit either. That's not to say they haven't happened but for Kane to be out just until the Euros start is convenient, he doesn't seem too interested in rushing to help us and I'm fully expecting him to hand in a transfer request this summer.

Son, who played an entire game with a slight fracture in his arm, suddenly makes himself unavailable for the rest of the season. Sissoko out of nowhere gets an injury until the end of the season, Davies in and out too and now Bergwjn. Sorry, but I don't buy it. This is classic damage limitation behaviour from players who don't want any part in this team at the moment. And until Jose figures out why that is, expect this to get worse before it gets better.

Gone in the summer: Kane, Ali, Son, Lloris, Sissoko, Vertonghen - more than half our Champions League team from last year.
sonny isnt coming back because someone shagged Eriksen's wife last year?

Its time for Mourinho to earn his money! We have a squad of players that have been depleted yes but the way they are playing is simply not good enough! If the team cant put in some reasonable performances during the run in, he should be gone by the summer!

So he didn’t tell the truth then but you think he is now? Surely just playing his usual games to deflect from his failures. Saying the opposition branch would all get in the team yet he hasn’t worked with any of them. Just rubbish

But we have sold out to the Jose myth and have to put up with it last his last clubs until they have the courage to ditch him. By then what I said to ManU supporting mates and Chelsea ones the last time will happen. He leaves clubs he manages in a mess. Yes he might get a pot or two but at what price?

Really people need to stop burying their heads in the sand and see what is in front of them
All new managers will wax lyrical about the squad that they've inherited. It is pretty obvious now that either it's not good enough or the issues with it were more deep rooted than a change in manager. I don't want to dismiss making it to the CL final but it did cover a lot of cracks.

If he's backed in the summer and together with the preseason we are still struggling by say November then that would be entirely fair. It's hard to see Levy cutting his losses before but who knows. Just changing the manager will not arrest the slide by itself though

Just watching the bin dippers against athleticism and my god trippier looks reborn. Aurier should take notes

There's probably one or two players in our squad that are not injured that can 'easily' get a move to a CL team. We will have problems shifting most of these players to a championship team!

Exactly. This is the same old issues we had under Poch in the end. It's just now gone into free-fall!

I disagree if he can't produce some form of positive reaction or performance in the remainder of this season he should be gone!

It doesn't really matter what either of us or any of us on here think ultimately so we can agree to disagree safe in the knowledge that it won't make a blind bit of difference!

Well Poch got what 25 points on his last 24 in PL and had either Son or Kane or both available. Rot goes way beyond who is head coach.

All joking aside no one knows what has happened behind closed doors over the last eighteen months, whatever has gone on though has ripped the heart and fight out of the squad.
if Poch couldn’t fix it then why on earth are we expecting Jose to be able to, especially with a group of players that he wouldn’t have signed himself.
Something is stinking our club out at the moment and I’m not looking forward to this bloody Amazon shite coming out.

Something like that has split the squad up....100%. How else do you explain Toby and Vertonghen, the best CB pairing in the country for years, suddenly the worst. Eric Dier, once wanted by Munich, United and plenty of the other top clubs, now can't be bothered. Eriksen leaving, the evidence is staring you right in the face. Rather than be honest and up front about, suddenly everyone is injured. Sorry, and I realise this is an unpopular opinion, but a lot of these players don't want to be here anymore.

Maybe it doesn’t help when you sack a manager that at least half the squad loved. Mourinho is all about Mourinho. He will be gone by this time next year so I think we should do ourselves a favour and pull the trigger now.

I agree, I would have stuck with Poch. He deserved the chance to turn things around, get rid of the players who can't be bothered any more and re-build.

We are where we are now though and whatever way you look at it, there's a big re-building job needed.

Agreed but that would probably mean another season down the pan and consequently the potential loss of key players next summer - we shouldn’t kid ourselves - Real, Man City, Man U will push really hard for Kane this summer - this is their opportunity - poch gone and no CL - I would hope we can hold them off but another season like this and I doubt it - i feel like we should give JM a pre-season and a proper go at it but everything I’ve seen and heard from him suggests it just isn’t going to work out - so,if I were Levy I would be very tempted to cut my losses now - never going to happen though

It's not - I would be stunned if he isn't still at the club next season. If Kane wants to go though that would mean cash being freed up for transfers.
