Jose Mourinho has hit out at 'powerful people who don't have a clue' after Eric Dier was handed a four-game ban by the FA.

Dier's ban was late in coming, handed down on Wednesday for an incident in the FA Cup over four months ago, and Mourinho couldn't help but let his frustration show when he spoke to the press on a video call later in the day.

I wish the club would speak out on these decisions more often. Yeah they might be penalised for it but showing your players you have their back in situations like this can really help with their confidence and loyalty.

The VAR decisions that have gone against us this year and decisions like this, it's hard not feel like the FA and others have enjoyed taking Spurs down a peg or two!
