We should be in a strong position to get a good fee from Leeds whether they get promoted or not.

If they get promoted they'll have money to spend, if not they'll likely have to sell a few players like Summerville and have some money to spend.

If he gets in the Championship team of the year or just performs to a high level all season then other teams could come in.

Ibou Touray from Stockport County is an international level defender.

Joe Rodon is a player we've actively been trying to get rid of for two years, has one year left on his contract, hasn't attracted Premier League interest and has only performed well at Championship level. A £12m sale in those circumstances would be a great result.
Now you say it like that, fu*k it, let’s give him away.

We'll certainly want rid and shouldn't want to risk overpricing him and miss out on the sale.

Valuing players is always tricky as there are so many factors that play a part. The player's ability, position, age, length of contract and the wealth of the interested parties all play.

The length of his contract and the wealth of the interested parties goes against us. If we can get £12m+ we should be happy.

If he were some new bright and shiny talent £20m would be a fair price. Throw in his top level experience and I’d say even more so.
And if he hadn't barely kicked a ball for 3 seasons, before his loan move to Leeds.

We signed him as a young (22-year-old) player with potential. He's now 26, but hasn't lived up to the potential that we had hoped, and will be in the final year of his contract this summer. I'm not sure how we should be expecting to make almost a 100% profit on him under these circumstances.

most likely a structured deal, maybe 10 to 12M up front, plus bonuses based on appearances and PL survival. maybe a 20% sell on clause and/or buy back clause just incase.

pretty sure we can do a deal. i always felt he had potential.
