Unfortunately Bentaleb will always be Sherwood's man for many on here. 19 years old, starting his career but still written off by many. Sad really.Not all. Assou-Ekotto has come home with his tail between his legs. He may be on his way out of WHL though.
But the rest of Spurs contingent have finally come to life (excluding Paulino). Vert had his best game in the tournament and even Chadli was quick and lively when he came on.
Bentaleb continues to effective in a quiet, laid-back way.
Hopefully bodes well for the coming season.
HTF is he written off? Anybody who knows anything about football can see that he is neat and tidy on the ball and def has potential, all those who think he was Sherwoods idea are lost...in Tino's selection I can't seem him being a regular, but in 2 or 3 seasons time he may just warrant a spotUnfortunately Bentaleb will always be Sherwood's man for many on here. 19 years old, starting his career but still written off by many.
