I really think it's the TV producers we should be upset with. Not right to broadcast a very upset child to the world like that, quite literally a cheap shot tbh.
Children have been shown in tears at the football for years. Grown adults, including players as well. Like it or not, the emotion makes for great TV in their mind.

imagine being of the belgians and seeing that, wouldn't you wanted to smash him in the stands after?
If Vermalon had been more professional and got on with the game he would have been better positioned to prevent the goal, stood there complaining for three seconds before he moved, by the time he did Barella was receiving the ball.

Kane overreacts all the time to get a decision. Right or wrong, like it or not, It’s the modern way now and isn’t in isolation to Italy, Grealish, Kane, Sterling all do it in order to over exaggerate a contact to get a decision.

I don’t like to see it, but if its at the end of the game, or gets a penalty I’d rather my team did that, than what we see with Spurs conceding last minute goals and losing 1 goal leads because of our lack of game management.
Italy get a bad flack for it, and unfairly so. When Kane, Salah, Sterling dangle there legs out for contact or Fernandes and Pogba get slight contact, looking and always getting a penalty/free-kick it’s labelled as cute, with not much fuss. With Italy it’s considered as the end of the world of football as we know it.

As a defender I’d be livid, but then Vermaelen just needs to look at Hazard and De Bruyne on his own team, where he sees them do exactly the same and be celebrating them getting the penalty.

They do it every time. I swear they spend most of the game finding a potential contender.

Immobile was doing it to pressure VAR to review the incident, to be honest if he'd got straight up and run back to his half they would never have bothered but if Belgium had cleared it successfully and he stayed down like that they most likely would have done. It's perfectly feasible that we will see more and more of this because of VAR

I might be alone in this, but I actually quite enjoy Italy's shameless and outright play acting.

They wrote the book on it, and it works to a tee. The 5 minutes of injury time were essentially taken up by Italians rolling around. Perfect way to take the pressure off.

You wouldn't be happy if you supported the team they were playing

There was one a couple years ago of an Arsenal kid balling his eyes out when Arsenal were getting smacked 3-0, there's just no need to display children crying on TV, adults it's different, but to do it to children is just unnecessary.

I just found this website and joined for free https://super6.skysports.com/?open=login

It's all about the England game tonight and asks 6 questions. I have put England to win 3-0, half time 2-0, first scorer Kane, first card Shaparenko, 9 corners and Maguire as man of the match.

I shall contribute a percentage of my winnings to SC later this evening (y) :)
Well worth a punt and it's free !

My sincere best wishes to all England supporters for tonight's match. I look forward very much to an Italy/England final.
