Oh yeah of course. I completely forgot everything before and after Eriksen's collapse on Saturday. But I don't fault PEH for that. Mentally it was a rough evening for him and Denmark. Bale, however, should have stuck that away no problems.

That is true, but progressing after that would see us facing the winners of Group F (Portugal France or Germany) in the quarters, winning it sees us get the runners of group F in the last 16. Wales getting 2nd have a much kinder path from last 16 and in the quarter finals.

Yep, but if we finish second and beat Slovakia or Sweden, we'll end up with France in the Quarter Finals and probably Italy or Belgium in the Semis.

Whereas topping the group would grant us a much more appealing run to the final. Still difficult, but avoids the big favourites.
