The tabloid reports suggest that the issue is not between Spurs & Pompey, but between Jermain Defoe (good guy) and Sky Andrew (bad guy).

It seems Defoe finally had enough of being yet another one of Andrew's Bosman Bitches, and fired him. Andrew is claiming he's still Jermain's agent, and is demanding his usual crock of shite (sorry wedge) for having nothing whatsoever to do with Defoe's move to Pompey.

Obviously, I hope Andrew gets shafted (preferably by Judas) - as long as the vid doesn't end up on YouTube.

Why does Sky Andrew exist?

We flogged him for a sum between 7 and 12 million pounds, most likely 9.

Typical journos not knowing shit again.

I'm going to the Pompey home game on Easter Saturday and I fully expect Defoe to start against us.

I'd like to send one of my bestest Sunday morning shits to Sky Andrew in a prettily wrapped gift box.

I'm not worried about defoe playing against us, we're going to shit all over them at the lane, and Defoe will blaze at least 3 efforts over the bar

Just came across this:

Jermain Defoe has joined Portsmouth on loan - not in a £9.5m permanent transfer. Pompey claim the deal will be made permanent within days because they have an obligation to buy Defoe. (Sunday Mirror)

But Sky Andrew doesn't own Jermain Defoe and never did.(not like the karabchin(?) did with Mascherano and Tevez.
He also never held his registration he was just his agent, If Spurs, who did hold his registration wanted to ignore sky andrew and deal directly with Portsmouth and Pompey want to buy his registration then the only one who can object is Jermain Defoe, he didn't and so it's not a problem.
If sky andrew has a problem then it's a legal contractual one with Jermain Defoe over money, same goes for him and Pompey as the buying club pays the agent.
If the move is not valid because of sky andrew having no involvement then the same would go for a loan deal.
I cannot believe that agents can ever have a veto over a transfer deal between one club and another if the player is in favour, there is no way the FA, Premier league, Football league, Uefa, Fifa or anyone else would allow that.

I'm sure this is the case and that the papers are just raking it up.

My ex used to work for Sky Andrews in Wanstead and he tried it on with her on numerous occasions, all of which were rebuffed.

I know she rebuffed him cos every time i saw her after work, i'd check if her fanny was still the same size before i stuck my member in.

That's entirely true. But let's imagine 10% of any transfer fee is payable to the agent, with a further cut to the player. Defoe & his new agent may not have been prepared to sanction a full transfer until the Andrew/new agent situation had been cleared up, because they don't want the equivalent of a million sterling going to Andrew. Hence a loan was agreed with 'Arry promising to make the transfer permanent once the agent situation was clarified.

With City refusing to ratify the Benjani transfer, suspecting 'Arry of fast tricks, this could end up being a problem. Especially if those useless nonces at the FA stick their noses in...

First I've ever heard of it, now Pompey have confirmed it is correct due to the amount of paperwork involved, and the permanent deal should be concluded soon.
