I hate footballers acting like politicians and watching their every word. I hate the closely guarded footballers refusing to talk to the media because they know our vile media will twist their words to suit their own agenda.
Harry fights this by simply being very open with them. I love the fact that I now get to hear from our managers opinion (unlike Ramos) on different issues regarding our club.
There used to be so much speculation about transfers and we never knew what was really happening, we now know exactly who we're after and as a result I feel closer to the club.
Peter Crouch has never been arrogant about his own ability or about whatever club he is playing four. He's a hard working, down to earth guy with a personality and the confidence to talk openly to the media. This should be applauded and encouraged not criticised.
I appreciate everyone's view on this. This thread and me are not anti Crouch. I just feel uncomfortable with the number of interviews flashing across the media.
So those that think I am negative about Crouch, I am not so just chill down.
I enjoy reading the few objective responses.
Fair play to him, who can ever forget the interview when asked what he'd be if not a footballer he replied 'A virgin' absolute class, self depreciating houmur, which most footballer's in this day and age are completely devoid of, egotistical twats. Crouchie deserves respect.
After that goal Crouchie scored the other night he can talk away all he wants,I was never his biggest fan but I wont ever say anything against him again.
Correct.
I think the OP is confusing Spurs with the mafia.
Maybe we should silence Crouchie to make an example to the other players to keep their mouths shut when the press ask them questions.
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to come up with a negative thread after our biggest win since 1991 but this thread really is something special.
