The 20-year-old impressed once more during Wednesday night's 3-2 win over Swansea City.

No but he has improved at an amazing rate. I can only thank Tim Sherwood for introducing him to the especially since some of the rubbish I said about both of them last season. Still no a big fan of Tim's but hope he does well at Villa and prove everything I said about him wrong.

How exciting that we can talk about our young players this way! They have all been a revelation. Mason, Kane and Bentaleb.

Bentaleb(and Kane) has been our most consistent players although not our best. Kane has been the best along with Lloris but Lloris has had a few shaky games.

Lloris has also saved our arses more than a few times.

My player of the season ranking would be Kane, Lloris and Bentaleb in that order.

Top 6: Lloris, Kane, Eriksen, Bentaleb, Rose, Mason with not much separating the last 4.

... I agree with everyone except Rose, he has had some decent games but he needs to cut out the schoolboy defensive errors... Only then will he become a decent player. I've always had high hopes for Eriksen and Lloris but Kane, mason, and Bentaleb have come out of nowhere and Sherwood has shown He had an eye for players even if not tactics. hopefully Poch can continue to bring them on. poch is winning me over with the way he handled the Adebayor/Lennon/Kaboul situation and I felt very proud to see our young team go up against the Chelsea billionaires.. I'm hoping this team could stay together and we can add quality in key areas. Imagine two more Lloris - lead by example players dotted about the lineup!

Was really impressed by him on Wednesday when I have previously been slightly dismissive. In previous years before when we have been leading in the run down of a game we have struggled for ball retention and level headedness, he stood out in this game against a Swansea side that recently outplayed Man U and is known for possession. I still think if we are playing him and Mason together and they are more renowned for industry rather than creativeness then we shouldn't be playing flattery man for industrious rather than form excuses. We should start with Chadli and Townsend or if Erikson is out wide then Dembele should be in the advanced role.

I don't care what anyone else says. The game is won in the midfield. I might be biased but Bentaleb is directly related to and influential of our success. That for me makes him our MVP. At the end of the season I know who my vote for most important player is going to.

He's been great. People forget he's 3 years younger than Mason. Any other season he would win young player of the year. Sadly, for him if not Spurs, Kane has that in the bag. How good can get?

He's a bit quiet today and wasn't up to his best form; but still put in a reasonable game.
