Tottenham have been priced out of a move for Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar after the Serie A club raised their asking price to £68million. The Slovakian international has become a target for Antonio Conte as he looks to strengthen his back three - but he looks set to miss out on his former player.

The thing is with Paratici and Conte, we are no longer held hostage in the transfer window now. I so hope we just dick about with them and pull away last minute just to piss them waste their time.

Yeah, meet their demands, agree with player and then be complete dicks about how we’re going to pay it - £1m a season for the next 68 seasons.

waste their time as much as possible and hopefully watch them slide into financial oblivion

It's a high price but is he worth it, considering how good VVD has been for Liverpool? By that comparison I only mean that VVD was seen as pricy for a CB, but now looks to have been a bargain, if anything.

Genuine question, I've not seen much of Skriniar.

They can raise their asking price as much as they want, but nobody is actually paying that
